The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The atmosphere was nothing special, and as others have remarked, the service was not particularly quick. On the other hand, the servers themselves were perfectly nice people; if you are not in a hurry and have some patience, the result is very much worth it. I have waited much longer for much less.

I love the food here, very tasty and unique. When i am in town, it is a must go place. I don’t have any dietary restrictions and perfer meat. they are halal friendly and vegetarian friendly so i can enjoy the food here with my friends who do. The service is always very friendly as well. I tried their coffee during a visit. It is very strong and tastes very decent, and it is served in a traditional set (see the picture). The only downside is parking. So, if you are unfamiliar with the area, it is a pain.

My first time here and also my first experience having Ethiopian food. The food was not bad but I really love the Injera bread – I mean I’m used to eat with hands back in my hometown but I don’t find this comfortable enough because it kinda colored my nails lol two stars gone because the super slow service as the food took very long to get into our table and the staff did not pay attention to us even when we wanted the check 🙁

This was first tasting of Ethiopian food and it tasted well. The right balance of spices even for a traveller like me from India.

This place is nothing out of the extraordinary. It was our first time here. We arrived and were told it would be a 20 minute wait. Fair enough. We were seated within the estimated time bit it took over 15 minutes to get water. A few minutes later the waiter came by to take our order. The food took about 30 minutes to be served. We had to flag the waiter down for utensils, napkins and more water. We were never checked on. The food was not bad. It was actually good. Hopefully this was just a one time thing. Moreover, and the main reason for my 3 star review, is twofold and directly related to our waiter. First we had to listen to the unsolicited, unwelcome political diatribe from the waiter. I’m not here for the left, right or any place in between. I just want to experience a good meal. Secondly, the waiter had a very condescending attitude. I’m hoping someone from management reads this and addresses the issue.

Food is really good but, be prepared to eat without utensils and this is not fast food. The staff is friendly but it will take a while for your food to arrive. I assume everything is made when ordered. Don’t come here if you’re looking to get in and out in a hurry.

Firstly, I highly recommend that anyone who wants to come here make a reservation as you’re probably not getting in (at least friday or saturday night).
