N.y. State (Of Mind)
Apple Martini
Neversink n.y. Apple eau-de-vie, green apple acid, lillet blanc inspired by a scrubs bar call: “appletini, please. Easy on the tini.” For us that means clean, precise and no fluorescent green stuff. The leading light here is noah and yoni’s hand-crafted eau-de-vie made in port chester from n.y. State apples.
$18.00
Empire Sour
Ragtime rye bib, current cassis, cardamom, verjus the idea of growing up without ribena (a popular blackcurrant cordial) is mind-blowing to your average brit, so we were shocked to learn that until recently growing blackcurrants in the usa was illegal. Thankfully, a persistent hudson valley farmer named greg changed things, so we’re able to make the delicious current cassis the star of this new york sour riff.
$21.00
Nine Inch Nail
Kings county single malt, compass box artist’s blend, amaro, salted peach updated, full-throttle take on the ultimate dad-digestif, the rusty nail, featuring cask-strength single malt from the brooklyn navy yard. Still as smooth as the rat pack favorite, but with a little more edge – frank’s nice ‘n’ easy gets a little closer to god, niv style.
$21.00
Hawksmoor Calling
Sipsmith dry gin, andrew’s honey, camomile, fino sherry (carbonated) a long, dry remix of an old favorite, the hawksmoor collins, that draws on a great millennial, milk & honey’s london calling. With hyperlocal rooftop honey from andrew’s of union square.
$17.00
Forth Time Around
Red breast irish whiskey, forthave amaro & bitter, lemon sherbet, soda a fizz based on another new york favorite, the paper plane. Featuring two numbers from brooklyn’s forthave spirits, this is a light, vibrant take on the original.
$17.00

We have had 2 8-person group dinners and a 2 person dining experience here. The servers are friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. The steak could have a little bit more of a sear on the outside but the meat quality is great! The apps and sides as well as the peanut butter Louis dessert were all awesome. Definitely order the tomato salad and scotch bonnet oysters!

Maybe this restaurant is better outside of restaurant week because I didn’t enjoy my meal much. $60 for 2 course meals. I got the bone marrow (2) as an appetizer and the steak frites that came w/ half a bone marrow.

Dinner was great!! The monk fish and side of mushrooms were delicious and the dining area had great atmosphere (though it was a bit loud and hard to hear conversation). We had coffee and tea for dessert— they gave me a cute little teapot and my partner’s coffee looked great!

Very attentive staff and recommendations for your taste. I recommend to take tomato salad with feta cheese . Incredible fresh and a tomato that tastes like a tomato A big rarity these days. We ordered an extra portion, but we ate it so quickly that I didn’t have time to take a picture. Lol

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was the best dining experience we’ve ever had! The staff was very kind and the service was incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the host and congratulated for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday, and our events were acknowledged many more times throughout the dinner by our servers.

Snagged a seat at the bar for dinner and we had a great experience. Loved how the host saves a seat at the bar once you arrive, so it’s not a total free fall fighting for seats once they open. The steak was cooked perfectly and the tributes we ordered to go were a really fun touch!

My favorite steakhouse experience ever! Get a steak off the chalkboard, and don’t miss the cream spinach. The desserts are legit too.
