I’m almost giddy thinking back on the epic meal we just had at this place and are already planning a trip back. There aren’t many places we add to our repeat list but this one made it. It’s rare that I’ve been more impressed with a meal. It all starts and ends with the geniuses at the bar who mix some of the most epic concoctions. From there, the menu isn’t overflowing with options, mind you, but there’s a reason: every dish we had was perfection and unique to the in season ingredients. The magic and care the chefs put towards their dishes is evident in every bite. We were blown away by the crusty bread and local cheese charcuterie and followed that up with a new fave of mine: the pork shoulder first course. The scallop and double cut pork chop main courses were both memorable, as was their outstanding and interesting wine list that added lots of depth to the already amazing food dishes. What a gem in Chapel Hill.

Fantastic food, impeccable service. The cocktails are to die for. All the seafood dishes from scallops to crab cakes were delicious. The ambiance is great for a lovely date night. Will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic. Our waiter was extremely attentive and the options were delicious. Our group of four ate all different plates, and we loved what we had. I’m visiting from another state, but if I were to get another chance to make it here, I would do so again. Conveniently located right next to a parking garage too, so it’s accessible to people unfamiliar with the area.

The bar tender was super knowledgeable and tweaked our drinks to perfection. The food was delicious. My wife started with the prosciutto and duck breast which was very flavorful and I had the salad which was incredibly tasty. We both had the beef tenderloin and loved it. We had panacota for desert but I wouldn’t recommend it. The panacota itself was overpowered by the nuts and the caramel on top. Besides that little hick up everything was perfect.

We had a reservation, and honestly it’s a real good place to go to whether you’re out of town or wanting a date out and you’re from chapel hill. Cozy Atmosphere, European Kitchen, Great Service, Lovely Drinks, and the most importantly PHENOMENAL FOOD.

Excellent food and service. Went for my birthday and our waiter Thomas really went out of his way to make it special. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the wine selection was amazing and we really enjoyed the ambience on the patio. I would definitely recommend for a romantic evening or special occasion.

This place was INCREDIBLE. Not only was the food amazing but the service is OUTSTANDING. Aaron helped us and made it such an incredible experience. They even change your plate and silverware between each course and plan out your meal so courses are served one at a time. Our server, Aaron, recommended the General Tso Cauliflower and oh my goodness, you’d never know it was cauliflower! I also thoroughly enjoyed the cheese board and salad. We had this delicious little ice cream sandwich dessert made with lychee and sesame seeds. The flavors were just so delectable. All the fruit was SO fresh. They hand squeeze all their juices and I had two very fresh mocktails. They even brought us a plate with a candle and free little dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. I can’t say enough great things. Aaron also mentioned they are opening a French bistro soon across the street in the same complex, can’t wait!

I recently had dinner here and everything was perfect! The cocktails, wine pairing and food were all equally great. What stood out the most was our waiter, Tom, who was knowledgeable of the menu and very personable. Cliff was also a great bartender who made delicious cocktails with my favorite being the “vieux carre.” The food was some of the best we have had in chapel hill (scallops were done perfectly) and the waitstaff were so friendly. It is difficult to find delicious food in a beautiful setting without being insufferably pretentious. This restaurant is a hidden gem and we will be back.
