Hay Elotes has consistently had great service and food throughout all the years I’ve been going there. It is the best place in Austin to get authentic Mexican snacks. They use white corn, and that alone is the biggest reason to only go here for elote, and nowhere else. The frozen mangonada is also amazing.

The elotes, agua nieves and nachos are super good. They have a variety of antojitos to satisfy all kinds of cravings.

The raspas, drinks and mangonadas are so darn good! You have to try it. Other than that… just because the snacks/food is great I’m giving this a 4 star. Doesn’t get a 5 because the staff is not welcoming or nice! The ladies were rude and very dry. They are just there to give you what you want and that’s it. Makes me not want to go to be honest. I’d think again to returning

Love this place for the occasional sweet, tangy, sour, cold summer treat. Also, great for elotes!

It is located on the side of the building, facing the gas station. Parking lot is on front of the place.

As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of delights. They have varieties of cold treats that includes mangonadas and shaved ice. I get the usual mangonada, along with the birria tacos that a lovely woman made in the yellow food truck, just outside of Hay Elotes. The only thing I would like to critique is that the mangonada is a bit watered down, but it still has that mango flavor. Overall, this place is a must for hangouts and/or a special treat for yourself!

teach your employees to take orders over the phone and that they can take card payments, the person who answers the phone doesn’t know how to do that function

I was really surprised with this place. The prices are not to overly price like all of Austin is. The portions and topping amount are appropriate for what you get. Tastes almost as if I got it straight from a puestecito in mexico. Sitting outside to eat it in the cold really made me feel almost home. Overall a very lovely experience, I’m glad I found my spot after almost 3 years living here.
