Since moving to Murrells Inlet I’ve been searching for a quality sushi place! I tried Hayashi for the first time last night and it will now be my go to place. I ordered the yummy roll, and the fugi mountain roll. Everything is fresh and has wonderful flavor. They do not offer inside dining, but the beach is just a short drive down the road from it.

Some of the best sushi I’ve tasted! Always tastes super fresh, incredibly friendly staff, and quick take-out times. Just wish they had sit-down dining available but regardless, the sushi is delicious!

They only have take out even had to wait outside after placing my order. Gyoza had a weird flavor. The shrimp tempura roll was extremely small. No special sauce for vegetable tempura I made it myself at home.

We love to camp at Huntington Beach State Park, and Hayashi is 10 minutes or less away. We tried it for the first recently, and it was FANTASTIC! The service was great, the food looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Everything we had was a treat for the tastebuds. The location and interior are unassuming and simple. AKA, not fancy, but don’t let that full you; the food is fancy!
