Really nice craft beer pub on US 64 between Murphy and Hayesville. We were driving past and my wife commented on seeing it so turned around and came back. At first thought it was a brewery, but still not disappointed. They do flights and we had a couple beers we’d not tried before. Only had the pretzel bites with beer cheese, but both were excellent. They had a salmon dip plate that looked amazing but we’d had lunch over in Murphy. Proprietor and waitress both friendly and attentive and lots of local regulars in the place especially for a Thursday midafternoon. Well worth a stop in or even a special trip if you’re in the area on either side of the border.

My fiancé and I stopped here while we were staying in Hayesville. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive. We had the special smoked salmon dip, and it was AMAZING. They had a great selection of beers which were sooo good. 10/10 would recommend for good food and good beer !!

A great little pit stop with a fun vibe!! I’ve only been here twice, we’re new to the area, but everyone is always so friendly and they make a killer grilled cheese. We will be back often because I can only go so many weeks without the All Grown Up Grilled Cheese.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon after some hiking. Small place but with a nice atmosphere and a very friendly bartender. Decent selection of brews and a food menu as well with reasonable prices. I had the grown up grilled cheese which was delicious. My fiancé had buffalo sliders, which she said were ok but the chicken patties were a bit hard. Not worth taking a star off as we mainly came for a beer. Cool place to grab a drink and would go back when in Hayesville again.

Adult grilled cheese is outstanding! Staff super friendly, beer good and cold. Place is small and intimate. Brenda the owner was awesome! We are visiting from Alabama and were treated as if we were locals. Definitely will be back’

Awesome little craft brew tap room! Food was amazing and fit the rustic venue. Buffalo chicken sliders, salmon dip charcuterie plate, wife had adult grill cheese. Brenda made us feel at home, great swag for sale too!

Food is amazing, service is amazing, they have outdoor music some nights. We were just passing through because our last name is Hayes and we thought it was cool because the town’s name is Hayesville. And we thought it was cool that this bar had a great menu and shirts and hats we could buy. The lady I think the owner could not have been nicer! If you’re in the area you should definitely stop by!

Service was very attentive and the food was delicious. Great beer selection too, if you are in to that. Both ladies were super pleasant and the kitchen guy that delivered our meal was nice as well. The baked potato soup special was phenomenal today….unlikely

Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon spent on the cozy patio around the fire pit. Had the EZPZ Blonde and Duck and Cover Red Ale, both very good and the spicy Korean sliders from the food truck were great too!

HBC has only been open for a year, but you would think they have been around for at least 20. The best Octoberfest beer around and the owners cover all bases. Not a bad thing to say about the place. Unique Unique Unique. A hidden gem. Plus, the beer and food doesn’t get any cheaper.
