Came in from Vegas to check out the food and can say I was blown away . I ordered the sampler and was pleased by the portions .The brisket and sweet potato tots were the bomb diggitty. BBQ expertly prepared with attention to detail. Courteous friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ownership takes pride in the establishment and it shows in the clean bright dining room and pleasant, breezy outdoor seating. Well appointed and tended bar with fat service. If you are cruising by on I-80, this is a great way to break the monotony of a long trip and traffic. WELL DONE “HAZE SMOKEHOUSE”. KUDOS!!!

We went here hoping for okay bbq and found absolutely great bbq. Everything was excellent and the rib I tried from my husband’s sampler platter was probably the best rip I’ve ever had in my life. Service was great and we ate out on the patio and it was a good atmosphere.

I have had some mixed experiences at Haze. It seems my best experiences are dinner and the less great are lunch. The most recent one (lunch) was pretty good. The brisket and pulled pork were quite good, the service was good, not over the top, but adequate. The bloody mary was excellent. The fries were great. In summary: I will keep going back!

Overall, not a bad experience. The bad we had was probably due to our own lack of knowledge on what Alabama White Sauce consists of (it’s quite vinegary if you didn’t know). We didn’t like that sauce, but the meat own its own was delicious. Brisket was very good! Candied bacon was very tasty. My only suggestion would be to include something in the description for the nachos about there being a vinegar flavor. Otherwise, we were happy.

We absolutely loved this place! The food was as good as it gets for anyone who likes bbq. The staff was fast and friendly and they had a blues guy playing on the patio. It is an hr south of us but absolutely worth the drive! And the prices are very reasonable.

This has become one of my new favorite restaurants. Their barbecue is so amazing but I especially love their barbecued salmon. My favorite is their sweet potato tots. Delicious. Love the owners, friendly staff, and great live entertainment. Oh, and the decor and blues music is superb. Eat local.
