My significant other and I decided to get dressed up and have dinner here recently. I was a bit surprised when walking through the door to see how dressed down everybody was.

Our server Chris S. was awesome. Very personable and made good recommendations and suggestions. My wife had the shrimp orzo pasta special while I had the chicken pot pie. Both dishes had tons of flavor and huge portions. Our drinks were spot on and the desserts were amazing; bread pudding (with no raisins like it should be) and banana cream pie! Can’t go wrong at Hazelwood!

Busy, bustling eatery. There is a full bar and a good selection of wine and beer, including local brewers. The menu is pretty broad. The brie cheese curds are absolutely great. The place is in constant motion. Lots of friendly staff moving food and drinks from an efficient kitchen. It gets crowded and there can be a long wait if you come at a peak hour. Despite all the tables covered, food and drinks come pretty quick. It’s not quiet, I wouldn’t call it romantic, but the atmosphere is pretty airy and friendly.

We planned on eating at the Mall of America when we got into town but the restaurant closed at 8:30 so we had to scramble and find something else. Super glad that we did because we have never eaten here. I will definitely go again. It’s described as an American eatery but honestly it’s so much more. I expected more of a sports bar vibe. But it’s very modern and has a really cool ambience. Lots of different spaces and places to eat. The menu has such a variety – I can’t imagine somebody not finding something they would be interested in eating. Great cocktail menu as well. Our server was fantastic. I would definitely recommend!

Hazelwood has a great menu, and everything we had was delicious! I really appreciated the awesome kids menu too. I especially liked the Chicken pot pie. Service is friendly and prompt. The ambiance is nice and modern, and the noise level for a Friday night was fine. Great location, not far from the airport.

Ok, this might sound crazy, but you have to try the shrimp deviled eggs. Our food was excellent: Mediterranean angel hair pasta and minute chicken. And please try the key lime pie. Doesn’t come in a slice, but don’t be fooled. The crushed almond crust, generous portion and excellent pie make it one of the best key lime pies we have ever had. Service was top notch. Only distraction on the patio, where we were, was the planes taking off.

We were staying at the AC Hotel right next to the restaurant for the weekend and that’s how we heard about the place, so we decided to give it a try after seeing so many positive reviews on Google. The reviews were accurate – this place was great! Very nice vibe and excellent service. We came for brunch/lunch. Drinks were creative and tasted very good – we had the sunrise sangria and the brown sugar old fashion. The deviled eggs were fantastic as well. I had the breakfast pizza for my meal and it was very good, but very big (probably would’ve been good to share with another person unless you’re really hungry)! My husband had the sunrise burger with a gluten free bun and he really loved it. We also got sides of sausage and bacon with our meals and those were great as well. If I would’ve been hungrier, I would’ve loved to try the monkey bread, but I guess we’ll just have to come again another time to try that! Overall, the experience at the restaurant was great and the quality of food was excellent. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We’ve really enjoyed our food here in the past. Our brunch for this meal was hit and miss. The cheese curds and cocktails were great, the French toast and prime rib hash were overcooked.

Great restaurant!!! Excellent food and friendly staff. Kids pizza was good, French fries have a delicious cinnamonish taste, my rotisserie chicken sandwich can with gravy to dip it in. Wife loves her seafood dish. No negatives other than it can be on the pricier side.

Can I just say WOW!!!! We tried to go here on Valentines Day but was booked up (of course). Went this morning for Sunday brunch and I see the hype. First off I had one of the best Virgin Bloody Mary’s ever!!! I mean just look at it. Then had chicken biscuits and gravy and the flavors are not just a one or two hit. Come to find out they make the gravy the day day before and let it simmer. Letting all the flavors meld. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the candied bacon adds not only a cool look but creates an exceptional bite
