The lady preparing the sandwiches had been complaining about having to work a double shift. She did not know how to make a Chicken Bacon Ranch sub. She put mayonnaise on it! No Ranch! Since this was a takeout order……it made no sense to drive back to have another one made. The guy that wrapped the sandwiches… made it look very difficult to watch, and the results were comical……I almost want to go back, so sobI can video tape with phone and show my friends …..Watching him wrap… and try to figure it out should be on a commercial for demonstarted what pot can do to your brain…

The employee are so nice and have such an uplifting aditude. Food was better than any subway I’ve had. Bread is also pleasantly sweet. Helped my lil brothers with the arcade game. When I come back to Springfield definitely making this a stop.

Service was fine, atmosphere was fine. But unfortunately, I think their toaster oven was down – which didn’t seem like a problem, although I’ve never had their cold subs. Once I got it home, I found that the bread was so thick – the ratio of bread to ingredients was ridiculous. Then the bread began to just fall apart while eating it to the point where it would have been better to just use a fork. It was a very unfortunate meal. A friend introduced me to HW about a year ago and it was amazing, but now I’m wondering if the business has changed hands, due to its lack of consistency and declining quality – and its not just at this location, it’s all others as well.

Half our order missing – again! – and sandwiches were garbage, not how we ordered and just a mess. Employees incredibly rude. I made the mistake of paying before picking up and not tearing the bag apart before I left. This is the second time they’ve stolen money from us in the form of food. I tried to give benefit of the doubt, but the big “go f yourself ” from the staff when we called ends our patronage. What a**holes.

I’ve been a H.W. fan for over 20 years, but unfortunately this location is awful. The person who works at this location most, can’t make a sandwich to save their life. I’ve been 3 times and each time the bread is poor quality and they cut it as if they’ve never cut sandwich bread in their life. The sandwich just falls apart when eating due to the quality and poor cutting. Their ingredients aren’t the highest quality either. Also, HW no longer having the vegetarian chili is very disappointing!

Fresh is the word i think about this place. Hot or cold the breads and soups are delicious your way. Every sandwich can be made into a salad too! And dont forget the brownie.

WHAT BUNCH OF F&&K UPS! I placed my order 2 hours in advance and when I get there it isn’t ready and all the employee can do is whine that she is the only one working and her job is hard. I didn’t want to wait so asked to cancel the order – she didn’t know how – great training!! She said she didn’t even know how to call someone to get help with the void but if I wanted to wait while she helped the folks that had not even placed an order yet she could get mine ready. I told her I wasn’t wasting anymore time and emailed the owners. (had to call another store to get that email address) and still no refund – this might be a bunch of scam artists – buyer beware!!
