We love India Indian food, but most places make the food so spicy it’s unbearable! While visiting Bakersfield, as we do yearly, we found this restaurant that prepares the food with a mild spice, and it was delicious! We ordered buffet style and there were many choices of meat, and fish, vegetables, rice,naan, we chose the garlic naan, salad, chutney, and India style pickle, they also have a lovely dessert of Carrot Halwa, shredded carrots with golden raisins, cardamom and slivered almonds, delicious, and Gulab Jamun, a deep fried cheese ball in sugar syrup! everything was fresh and tasty! And to make it better, they have high ratings! We will visit this restaurant again!

One of my top ten indian cuisine restaurants. They provide exceptional service, fantastic food and have a very polite staff. I love the ambiance this restaurant has, a great place for a date. I usually go for the buffet, chai tea and mango lassi. The buffet changes every day from my understanding, but if you would like to order take out they also provide that service as well. I will provide pictures of the food available the day I had the pleasure of dining in and their menu. I crossed out the prices in black because I was informed that their prices had changed recently. So for more information on menu prices it’s best to call the restaurant during regular business hours.

This was our first time visiting the heart of India & the experience was great. The food was delicious, super reasonably priced & great friendly service. I have celiac disease (severe gluten allergy) and they were able to confirm foods were gluten free; I had the butter chicken with rice and they all provided papadum (with 4 sauces) free of charge, as well as a soda. All of it was extremely flavourful.

We had the buffet here and it was just amazing. My fav was the goat curry. My friends loved the shahi panner. Overall the staff were friendly, place was clean and the food was tasty. Thank you for the good experience.
