Went to dinner for the first time here last night. It was super busy but they’ve got a call list and they called us when they had a table ready, precisely at the time they estimated. It’s a fairly small restaurant, cozy. Pizza is the specialty and the only food offering aside from some appetizers and daily specials. Stone fruit is in season right now and the specials of the night all included nectarines. Lucky for my wife and I as we both love them. I got a pizza with fresh nectarines, prosciutto and peppers. It’s easily the best pizza I’ve had in Lincoln City and the best pizza I’ve had anywhere in a long time. It’s cooked in a wood fired pizza oven that takes up a substantial part of the kitchen. The crust on my pizza was bubbly with small little burny spots, exactly how a proper wood fired Italian style pizza should be. My wife got a caprese salad that had fresh nectarines. It was beautiful and she said it was delicious. For desert we stuck with the nectarine theme and shared a piece of nectarine upside down cake. It was fabulous. Our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

I normally do not go to the coast for food. This was a pleasant surprise! Unfortunately, our favorite pizza (lamb Kafta) did not get a good photo. The photos are a bit haphazard to be honest but it was worth a try.

The best food in Lincoln City. I can’t stop thinking about the beet and orange salad, and the acorn squash with ricotta and hazelnuts. Beautiful space! Danelle always takes great care of us. Fun cocktails and great wines!

Phenomenal. The wood fired salmon, ricotta pizza special was perfection. The tiramisu moist. The music playlist was fun and nostalgic for us 90’s kids/teenagers. We couldn’t help but sing along, heard the chef enjoying the music, too.

We went early and lucked out – got the last open table so no waiting! I have tried to eat here multiple times but it either had super long wait times or was closed. We shared the chicory Ceasar salad, which was in the top 5 best salads I have ever had. The dressing is so light and refreshing, just citrusy and tangy enough for a warm summer day. The pizzas were delicous with thin, chewy crusts, fresh sauce and toppings.

If you are a fan of food with a soul, food made with love, food that is made with intention and honesty, a would humbly suggest you give H&T a try. In a sea of culinary sameness and uninspired predictability, these local chefs are doing something different and wonderful. Nearly everything you order will be made from scratch with quality ingredients which have been locally sourced. H&T doesn’t turn its nose up at you, it just offers quality food, made extremely well in a cozy and comfortable setting. This type of enterprise deserves our support.
