This was the best barbecue that I have had the meat on the tri tip just melts in your mouth and I would like to thank the owner for hooking me up with a sandwich before they open because I drive a semi truck and was on a time crunch with my logbook and was running out of time and I would just like to say thank you very much to him and I will definitely be recommending This place to everyone at my company and another truck drivers that go thru Quartzsite Arizona and I will see you next year God bless and thank you again

The food had good flavor but there was very little of the food. Had the $14.95 specials. Very small portions. A Carl’s burger has about the same amount of meat. Oh but the cheesecake was great though.

Two years ago I had a nice rack of ribs. Today I left most of them on my plate. These were the worst ribs I’ve been served in three years. Tough and stringy. Baby back ribs should be slow cooked. These were not. The smoke flavor was hardly in the meat. The beans were tasteless.

We had the 10 oz ribeye that came with coleslaw and beans with salsa on the side. The early bird special was $16.95 (if I remember correctly) it was by far one of the best steak dinners ever! I ate Evey bite plus their cheese cake with 4 different toppings (had mine plan). Not a huge menu, a couple of different soda’s to choose from (cans) coffee or bottled water. Well worth the stop….have eaten there twice now. They will close for the season by the end of March 2020

I ordered the tri Tip and pulled pork combo with the fixins. It was really tasty. I just wish they gave you more than two pieces of tri Tip. It was not a man’s serving for $15.95. I typically have left overs when buy dinner at that price. But none here. The dinner roll is served cold with hard butter.

Wow. Expensive and extremely small portions. I guess if you are a veteran or quasi-military support person you would like the place for the flagrant jingoism… The food was pretty good, but a $15.00 special plus extra $$$ on top for some very small sides was twice the price we had been paying for similar meals elsewhere. I can’t see going back again. I will say that the serving staff was well-meaning and very nice. One last note: One of our group was a veteran who was told that there was no discount as ‘they already sell “almost at cost”…

We stopped for lunch on our way out of town and our meal was faster than if we had gone to a chain restaurant and 100 percent tastier. We ordered pulled pork and the beef sandwich and both were excellent. Fresh hot coffee was served and the restroom is clean.

Wow, one rack of ribs, 2 meals and a side of beans for $94! All of the prices that were shown on their website were significantly higher when it came time to pay. For example, their 24 oz beans had an online price of $8 and when I paid they had rung them up at $16!! When I questioned the lady, she said they don’t make the website, they don’t have anything to do with that.

Food was very good. I ordered the pulled pork / tri tip combo “with all the fixings” which I assumed would include maybe some macaroni salad, potatoes, corn bread, etc. What I got was about 1/3 lb of pork, two medium sized slices of tri tip, cole slaw, and some cowboy beans. Everything was very good, but I would say I got about a $10 or $11 meal for $15. My friend felt the same about his combo meal. Nice people and good food, but prices are too high for what you get.

There food is good. I think that it could be better and prices are outrageous for small portion. There really don’t give that much food. Most bbq places for $25.00 loads you up. This place for 2 feeds to people is over $40. Staff are friendly. Its clean inside. But for the price there asking not worth it.
