Best burger in Charleston 2023!! We love this place. Good quality is consistently excellent, kitchen times are quick, they’re fresh juicing citrus for the cocktail program & staff is friendly and attentive. We had Morgan tonight & she was great. This has become a regular treat for us. Two thumbs way up!

We travelled to Charleston for the first time this past weekend and got the tip about Heavy’s from a local tour guide. Short Uber from downtown was well worth the incredible food and service. Met the whole family who owns and runs this great burger bar. Smash burgers are absolutely amazing! Onion rings are not to be missed and save at least a bite’s worth of room for the lemon ice box pie. I don’t love lemony desserts, but this is a top 10 dessert for me easy! Perfectly balanced from sweetness to texture to end a great meal. In a city where you can’t toss a biscuit without hitting a good meal – Heavy’s stood out from our trip as one of the best. Can’t wait to get back to Charleston to eat at all the places we missed, but will definitely be back to Heavy’s!

Good place with a good vibe. Went with the family and had a great time. Everything from the vegetarian to the 6 year found food they liked. The burgers really are the star of the show. I got a custom smash burger with two patties, grilled egg, cheese and bacon. It was amazing. We will most def be back.

Visiting the area from out of town. This place was open late, and was a great stop for dinner, when everywhere else was closed. The wings were AMAZING!!! Went back the following day for lunch to get the wings again, and also the Cesar salad was delish! The servers were friendly- night/ day shift and also gave me suggestions on good fishing places in the area.

Superior smashburgers! The sweet potato fries were my favorite item on the table. The onion rings are thick, and the bbq sauce provided for dipping them in has a deep vinegary finish. Great options for burgers on the Charleston peninsula with ample parking.

Love the atmosphere! The bar burger and the fun guy was a favorite of ours! Family owned and they welcome you with open arms. Everything was freshly made to order, and didn’t take long. That heavy sauce!! Omg! I loved it! They even checked up on us and made sure we enjoyed everything! I’d highly recommend! Check the picture out! We demolished our food! Lol, thanks for such great service! We will be back!

First time in this place and we had a really good experience overall. Staff is very friendly and the menu has good variety of burgers, sandwiches, wings and more. I got the badburger with sweet potato fries, very tasty, juicy and the bun is super soft and sweet. I do recommend this place if you are up to burgers while in Charleston.
