The sausage is really good. It has that spice that makes it just right. The boudin balls are good, but too salty. Maybe it’s the box we got that was over salted. Will definitely buy the sausage again.

Not all bad boudin comes from Texas. Herbert’s in Kinder has overpriced poor quality Boudin. The casings are undercooked, meat stuffing is poorly seasoned and the rice has crunchy undercooked parts.

No hate at all to Herbert Boudin but I I’ve worked for this company personally. THE CRACKLINS ARE NO LONGER COOKED AT ANY LOCATION. Every thing is precooked then sent out to all locations. Like I said no hate toward the owner or his business but it’s not your servers fault.

Out of towner and was not aware till on road. Ordered the last sausage. It was very over cooked, dry and hard. Very disappointed. Overall boudin was alright not as usual.Maybe next time food will be better.

We stopped by on our way through. Let me start by saying I have HIGH standards on food! The crawfish pie, the spicy quail eggs and boudin was superb!!! Guys the selection is VERY small, but worth the stop!!!! What they do is done right.
