HEK Yeah BBQ has beef ribs with full or half racks (served until sold out), pulled port, sliced brisket, sausage, hamburgers, and sandwiches. Our homemade sides consist of coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, green chili mac N cheese, and seasoned vegetables – get them by the pint or quart! We also have vegetarian options and sweet potatoes & black bean veggie burgers. We are on the west side of Cave Creek Road at Nisbet Road — just south of Greenway — in North Phoenix, Arizona.

So I gave them 5 star even though atmosphere wasn’t great. Meaning the restaurant itself feels outdated and AC wasn’t running that great, but don’t let that fool you, this is a gem. With that being said, you gotta start somewhere.. we own our own business and I’m sure the same would be said about our office. But what stood out is the star of the show anyway.. the BBQ!!! Brisket was best I’ve ever had! Mac n cheese was green chilli Mac but not too spicy just right. It was the best Mac I’ve ever had. Pork tacos were sooooooo good and coleslaw was spot on. Can’t wait to go back. Respect to the chef! Amazing job!

Darn good barbecue. The place has an actual wood smoker that is parked up front. It was all really good. Ordered the three meat plate. The ribs were tasty and cooked perfectly. The sausage had a lot of flavor and was not rubbery. The chicken was tender and moist and probably the biggest surprise of the three. The sides were both really solid as well with adequate portions for at least two people. The cole slaw was fresh and flavorful and the beans were unique. There was a lot of care, skill, and experience put into the food. The service was attentive and friendly and they have glass bottled coke which is always a plus. My only concern is the fish tanks were cloudy and not well maintained. I was going to give a 4 as a result but the food was so good that I am guessing they were just having a temporary issue with the water in the tank. Reasonably priced. I will go back.

Smells delicious! This was our first visit and will not be our last. We already have plans for them to cater our fantasy football draft. The food is amazing, meats are cooked to perfection, potato salad is lit and the queso bacon fries are fire! The ghost bbq is hot, like super hot. The sweet Carrie’s a little heat but not to much and the original is on point, no heat.

This is by far the best brisket and ribs in town. If you love great barbecue, and this is for sure a must try place. You’ll definitely be coming back for more. We just had our first experience here, and this place competes with any Texas, Kansas City or Memphis BBQ spot you put it up against.

One more place I’ve been trying to get to. Really good bbq coming out of this joint. I didn’t love the seasoning on the sausage but it was cooked good. Seasoning kind of caked off in my mouth. Brisket was moist and had a good chew to the meat. Nice and fatty!! The star of the show was the ribs. Perfect. Ribs can’t get any better than that. Beans were ok. Cheesy bacon fries, yes please. Original and sweet sauce were very flavorful. I even liked the hot sauce and i don’t do hot. Kenny was very friendly. 4 stars because of the temperature. I was sweating while eating. It is 104 out though. I’ll definitely be back but probably take it to go.

We tried it out for the first time on Father’s Day, it was very busy and they were doing their best to keep up. This was easily the best beef brisket I think I’ve ever had, so amazingly tender and flavorful !! I will definitely use them again, being that they’re five minutes from the house we plan on ordering out and eating at home. I like giving my money to Mom and Pop businesses and that are locally owned. These guys make the big guys look like amateurs.

The inside is very…eclectic to say the least . But the food is so good! I love a good green chile mac and cheese so this hit the spot. Very flavorful. The staff is also very friendly with great customer service. I ordered online but the website must’ve glitched so when they got my order they called to clarify which I appreciated instead of them just assuming what I’d want.

First time visit. Really nice staff, great vibe in this little authentic BBQ. Ordered brisket sandwich. Great flavor. Really like the fries also. They use lots of Salt and Pepper on em. Sweet tea is some of the best I’ve had real brewed too, not that nasty gun stuff.
