First time here, Good beer selection, good burgers. Service was very slow, they were pretty busy. They were very apologetic about the wait, so maybe just a fluke. We’ll still go back again, very “up North dive bar” vibe, we enjoyed it!

Heck’s is a little hole in the wall townie bar, but they have the BEST.BURGERS.EVER. Get yourself to Hecks and have a burger and fries. Or better yet, burger, onion rings and a cold beer!

Did the Friday night Fish fry with perch. Fish, onion rings, salad for $15.00. Dinner for 4 with 2 drinks each total $85.00. Do not be fooled by the outside appearance this place has the best perch in the Thumb.

You have to have a burger here, they’re the best! They also have a great selection of Michigan craft beers which is unexpected for an out of the way watering hole such as this. The decor is reminiscent of the 70’s which is actually pretty cool.

Wish I could give them a better rating. Place needs serious improvements. Carpet on front of bar is shredded. Our food was overcooked, making it dry, hard and difficult to eat.
