As always, the food and service are fantastic. And guess what? THEY GOT THE BIG A/C FIXED!! It was cool in here. You just won’t believe the portions you get with the meatloaf. By my previous review, the meatloaf is obviously my favorite.

Found this place kind of by accident. Was driving down the highway and boss called and needed some reports right then. Since it was close to lich I decided to stop and give it a try. I am glad I did. The food was excellent, severice was great and everyone was friendly. Had good music placing in the background but it wasn’t so load so you could actually talk and carry on a conversation with the people at the table or on the phone. I definitely will stop here again when I pass back though town.

The greatest meatloaf ever. When they say two large pieces of meatloaf served, they mean it!!! Huge portion for the money. There’s almost no way to eat the whole meal in one sitting. Get ready for a to go box. We come from about 30 minutes away just for that. It is warm in there, but worth it. You won’t be disappointed!!!

We were in town for a baseball tournament and we stopped by today after searching restaurants in the area. The waitstaff was super sweet and the restaurant was very clean. It looked just as I imagined a small town restaurant would look. I love that small town feel! We thought the name sounded fun too! The food did not disappoint and we all left full! The kids loved the chicken tenders and mac and cheese!! We are glad we stopped by and would recommend the Hedgehog Grill! I know we are in the middle of a pandemic and people are nervous about eating out. It was nice that customers were given the option of wearing a mask or not. It was refreshing! Hand sanitizer was located throughout the restaurant and there were several signs about hand washing. It was clear that the restaurant was taking steps to keep their customers safe and comfortable.

Great food! Masks aren’t worn by many of the staff. Onion rings are tasty, but pretty salty. I’d just go with the fries next time. The Philly cheese steak was excellent and could be split between two, really. The tomato soup was awesome. Root beer float was also great.

The food is always good and fresh here. Great burgers and chicken fried steak. They are never very busy. I think they should advertise more. They deserve to have more business!

Felt like I was hanging out in the back yard on a hot day. Everyone was very nice but they are short staffed. I didn’t want to leave a bad review, just an honest one. My fish was good, just need to hire some waiters and turn on the a/c.

We should have known better when there were no cars in the parking lot. Upon walking in, it was very hot, again – we should have left but not being from the area and hungry, we tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. The chips and queso were mediocre at best. We had 6 adults and two children. Three of the adults ordered Monte Cristo sandwiches. Upon SERVING two of the sandwiches, we were told they didn’t have enough supplies for the 3rd sandwich. (info would’ve been helpful much earlier!) So, one of the adult entrees arrived after everyone was finished eating. The syrup in the sprite was out, it took 30 min to get a replacement – even after I said I’d be happy to take lemonade or water instead. On top of it all, it was overpriced. The best thing I can say is that no one got sick.

Worth getting off new Hwy 290 to eat here on old Hwy 290. I had the Tuesday special, beef tips, and it was a large portion on top of white rice. Very well seasoned. Husband ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. Came with brown gravy. Two large pieces of meat loaf that had been sliced and browned on the grill. Very good. Fresh green beans had lots of onions and were very well seasoned. Also good strong iced tea and friendly service. We had stopped for lunch.
