This has always been a family favorite, but tonight was exceptional. We devoured what we got so quickly, but we did get a could pics (Huge Hefner & the Cedarburger). The food is always literally made fresh and just like a greasy burger stand burger should be. The Custard is always creamy and delish. But the stars of the show are the 4-member team of highschoolers just cranking out food this sunday eve (3/19/23) just before close. None have stopped moving. None are crabby about it. Why go to Culver’s when you can have a much more authentic and bigger burger! Love this old school burger and shake spot, from the exterior to the arcade games and inside it feels like the burger spots of the 80s and 90s! Burgers are big and there’s a lot of options, we enjoyed the Huge Hefner and the Cedar Burger! Huge Hefner is a play on the Big Mac and is wayyy better obviously, the cedar burger was good as well, the cheese sauce is pretty rich tho. Had the get a shake and an Oreo cookie sandwich too, boy are we glad we stopped! If your in the area, trust me, skip Culver’s and come here!

I was treated to Hefners for dinner and boy howdy was it a great burger joint! The restaurant has a pleasant clean aesthetic to it and has good quick service! The food itself is very great! I had a vanilla milkshake, order of fries and double cheeseburger woth pickles and mustard and all tasted great and filling! Try Hefners out if you’re in the area, it’s great!

Although I enjoy the food. I can’t help but notice the the service has been on a steady downward trajectory. Unfortunately Hefner’s has become an establishment where I’m simply not surprised when my order is incorrect. And as I previously stated that I really do enjoy the food, if the quality of service does not change,I fear that my patronage may have to come to an end.

Best custard and grilled cheese sandwich around. Burgers and fries are delicious, too. Parking is tough when they are busy, but worth it. 50s style, counter style seating. Some table seating outside.

Service sucks. All high school kids working here and they just play on their phones and socialize. The girl taking the orders was texting on her phone and didn’t even notice the customers standing in line waiting for their orders to be taken. Then when she finally realizes it the restaurant phone rings and she answers that. I just walked out. Seemed like a way better establishment years ago.

I forgot how good this place is. I had a cedarburger, which had port wine cheese on it and worked surprisingly well! Lots of interesting options with classics like cheese curds. Really good custard too.
