I’m not sure what to think about the food we got for takeout, given all the other great reviews. We both got the double meat combos, both with pulled chicken and the brisket. I’ll say this…the sides were good. But the chicken and the brisket… I honestly don’t know how to put it nicely, so I’ll let the picture do most of the work…

A friend took me to lunch here. It was very slow, very quiet. Seating was uncomfortable because it has no padding. Service was very quick. Menu was very clear with sooo many options. Presentation of food was very nice. Portions were of decent size. Food was very tasty. Had a microbrew of a beer that had pineapple, mango sour in it. Went perfectly with the sweetness of smoked meats. Dessert was really tasty too. It’s a little out of the way but it’s definitely worth the trip.

1st time getting food here we got prime rib which was delicious then we ordered the brisket and rib combo ribs were good brisket was very dry and just a pile of meat pieces

I can say right now this is not worth 50$ and that is what I was charged. And for having to pay 50$ didn’t even receive the full order and when questioned why it was so much I was told it was 18% gratuity because the containers went up…. Sorry but horrible excuse when gratuity is supposed to be for employee and a dine in service. Will never order again.

Ordered out and just opened up my order to find that first, it was apparently taken over the phone incorrectly which I can deal with. What bothers me is that for $5 you get 2 fork fulls of side. Oh plus an 18% gratuity even on carry out orders. This place has seriously gone down hill recently and I’m sad to say they’re losing a customer.

The brisket, ribs, and beans were amazing. The pulled chicken was very very dry, but I’m sure that’s not how it usually is, everyone’s allowed an off day. Everything else was really delicious, the brisket in the sauce was incredible. Service was very friendly. I did find it quite expensive for the portion size, but can’t really blame them for inflation I guess.

Friends and I meet for dinner at different spots and this was a huge hit. We loved the flight of sides to help us choose and the service was excellent. The ribs were tender and fell off the bone and pulled pork was moist and delicious.

First time there, excellent service! I had half slab ribs and they were delicious! I didn’t think I would eat them all but they were like butter! Sides were good too. Baked beans had a slight kick tothem and mac salad was good also.
