First time trying this spot out. It is inside a hotel. No ramp from what I saw to enter. Had to carry stroller up the stairs and no handicap button to push open doors. Restaurant is very clean and upscale. The service took too long and the staff look miserable. Ordered the French toast and it was DROWNING in butterscotch. Had I known, I would of said just drizzle it because it was too sweet. Scrapped it off just to eat. The potatoes were very good! Also ordered a bacon egg and cheese with fries. The egg on the bacon egg and cheese was over easy and the bun was soaked in yolk. On the menu it states “fried egg.” I would not return nor feel it was worth the price.

Bartender Ismael made me the best pisco sour I’ve ever had! If you’re a whiskey sour person, you’re sure to love this. Food was great and service was fantastic. Thank you!

Second time here and hasn’t disappointed yet! We got the ricotta and bread as a starter along with tomato soup. I got the avacado toast with an egg and everything but the bagel seasoning. The mimosas were great, but pricey-spent 14 on just one. I would definitely recommend to anyone for a hearty brunch in downtown Nee Haven. People are very friendly!

We wanted to try out the saturday brunch menu at Heirloom and it was quite good. Very good quality and perfect quantity for the price point. Nice ambience. Service… can be improved, however

Pretty decent brunch fare with a variety of healthy options and indulgences. The egg bake dish (forget the name) was flavorful and filling, and the quinoa bowl and burgers were satisfactory as well. The homemade potato chips were a bit greasy and soft, but overall pleasant brunch. But for what the food is, the place is overpriced, but it also has to do with the fact that there aren’t great restaurant options in New Haven. Finally, service is super slow, so prepare to be patient if you go.

Nice ambiance and attentive staff. The ricotta cheese and the kale salad were all quite good the burger and the flat iron steak were some of the better options on the menu. The chicken was okay and a bit dry. Overall a nice place to check out in new haven.

Ate here since I appreciate the farm to table aspect, and overall the food was decent. I started off with the garlic octopus, which fell a little short of expectations. The duck entree was good, and a colleague got the scallops which looked great but didn’t seem to spark a lot of enthusiasm from him. The brussel sprouts side was not bad but I wasn’t a fan of the sweet glaze it was sitting in..

The overall environment is nice and the concept of farm to table of course is lovely, especially in the city of New Haven and the diversity it brings!
