Everything on their menu is fresh–farmfresh! Wonderfully thought out, their ever-changing menu offers dishes based on what fresh, local ingredients are available. The service is excellent as they are always attentive to all their customers. It restaurant is not big so the place could fill up quickly.

A mother/daughter duo have remodeled the old Black Trumpet and are busy cooking up delicious food to welcome guests to their”modern farmhouse”. It is a family affair and everyone is warm and welcoming and working hard to ensure you enjoy your time there. They have a fun selection of beer on tap and wine by the glass. The beet salad was amazing and I would definitely order it again. The Curry Shrimp were also delicious. The scallops in Scallop Provencal were cooked perfectly but the risotto was underwhelming. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be returning soon.

I wanted to love it but it missed the mark. 2 out of 3 entrees were not that good and we did a couple of appetizers that were too similar to each other in presentation and taste. You need reservations as place is tiny and wine list was unique.

I had a business dinner here. The atmosphere is cozi, relaxing, and welcoming. A perfect place to hang out. I had the steak frites. It was good, I enjoyed the meal. I would try something else next time as I’ve had amazing steak frites elsewhere. We had a Paso Cabernet that hit the spot. Tommy, our waiter, was great. He was on his own but made it work for all of the tables.

I wanted to love this place as it came recommended by friends but we didn’t have a great experience. I took my wife for Valentine’s Day and maybe it was an off night but for that price point (over $300), we were expecting to be blown away by the food and service but we weren’t at all. Service was unorganized and it felt very unhospitable. We left disappointed and we won’t be coming back.
