I for one am glad to see Helen Back Pizza back in Crestview. I have personally always enjoyed Helen Back pizza the best. Today we had the 16-inch pepperoni and mushroom, and it was spot on. It also did not break the bank to enjoy our meal there. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with plenty of seating and a clean and well-maintained interior. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to help you find the perfect pizza or other dish. The restaurant is in a convenient location on the North side of town by Winn Dixie. There is plenty of parking with handicap parking and handicap restrooms on the premises. Overall, Helen Back Pizza is a fantastic place to go for a pizza meal in Crestview. Never eaten here before so decided to give it a try. The pizza was mediocre at best. We decided to start with the OG – a pepperoni pizza – you can’t go wrong. My hubby thought it was good, I thought it lacked flavor. We also ordered the chips and salsa because I was intrigued – chips and salsa on a pizza menu – ok! The homemade salsa was GREAT! A tint of sweetness and just enough heat! I like it more than the pizza. The chips were bagged (I can almost taste the brand). Homemade chips would be SO BOMB with their homemade salsa! We also ordered “cheesus chrust”. It was just ok. Probably wouldn’t eat here again based off this food order.

Our pizza from Helen Back Pizza Crestview was awesome! They do have vegan cheeses and meats but we don’t like how they make our bodies feel so we ordered no cheese, bbq sauce, sun dried tomato , black / green olives, & artichoke hearts. There’s something about the way they make their crust that is unlike other pizza. I enjoy it. Also the environment is fun to hang out in. Worth going on a date here — at Helen Back Pizza Crestview.

Ordered take-out and for $25 PLUS tax I expect more toppings and flavor! Our pizza wasn’t much thicker than a piece of paper and had barely any toppings, especially for the price. And the pizza was barely warm even though we’re only 9 minutes from the restaurant. So disappointed and won’t be back!

Pizza was huge, which was great! Bottom was a bit burnt, the salsa and chips wasnt worth the buy bc it had way to much of a vinegary taste. I know it just opened and i know we will be back to give them a 2nd chance. . Maybe turn the oven down about 10 degrees? Just a suggestion.

I’ve left a 5-star review before, but tonight, the service and atmosphere were degraded. It seemed cold and unfriendly. Nobody checked to see how our pizza was or came to see if we wanted a box. And there were only 3 tables eating at the time. Last time, we had the owner/manager walk around, but what a difference when he’s gone. Now, when we go back, there will be no tip at the counter. If there’s good, friendly service, then the tip will go in the jar later. I no longer agree with paying for tips when ordering at the counter. These younger generations need to understand that tips are earned, not mandatory. Sara, the supervisor, never went more than 4 feet from the register. After I spoke with her about our disappointment, she seemed to huddle at the counter between the kitchen and her area with 3 employees and when they all look at your table, well that isn’t a good friendly feeling either. Good pizza brings people back, but good service and pizza bring us back sooner. Hope this was constructive and has a positive outcome.

Our pizzas were so incredible! I cannot adequately emphasize the authenticity of their flavor profile. Try it out for yourself! I promise you will not be disappointed. All of the ingredients were so fresh and the crust was perfect. We are prior, active and retired service family as well as medical professionals. Loved every bite! IN CRESTVIEW 🙂 They have military specials, too.
