Strangers’ Gardens
This is a casual cafe with very chill vibes in the Farm Shopping Center. We were actually over there trying to go to Margaret’s German restaurant (unexpectedly closed again) and ended up here. Glad we did!

Man, this place was super affordable. Super tasty…the chef clearly has a love for food and cheffing, and it really creates a five star atmosphere. This would probably be $20 in Austin.

Helen of Troy used to be at 66th and Lewis and now they are near 51st Sheridan. Being a gyros lover, thought to try them this time. The owner was friendly as I entered the store. I was really surprised seeing them selling gyros for 5.99 as I haven’t seen any other greek restaurants in Tulsa do that. I also ordered a greek side salad for $3.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant at Helen of Troy . The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted was fresh and delicious. Absolutely the best meal we had while. Highly recommend!

Sam was a delight. He helped us decide what to order and didn’t try to upsell us. He actually talked us into smaller meals. Thank goodness. The Greek salad was amazing. I love a well-chopped salad. The Tabouli was some of the best I’ve had. Less bulgar wheat so it was more like a condiment. The spicy hummus was outstanding and the warm pita bread was spot on. The gyro meat was thin and juicy.

Had heard about this place and was in the area after running an errand to the bank of America nearby at 11am.

Love this place….amazing find!! Being new to Tulsa, I was finding it very difficult to locate a place that serves authentic Mediterranean food. Helen of Troy has all of the wonderful fresh flavors I craved and honestly better gyros than some of the bigger cities I’ve lived in.

Google Map shows the store is Open, however , when I arrived it was closed. I drove 20 minutes. Nothing personal with the one star review, just reflecting my experience.

Just left this place with my friend. Very clean, good environment. The food was absolutely bland to the max, this is a disgrace to actual Greek food. Very bland, nothing seasoned! I had the Mountain Dew and it tasted like carbonation. You can tell the owner is struggling, business was down, no one else in there, and him working alone. Good person, but safe your money go somewhere. Empty restaurant means red flags and 1 person working. Absolutely honesty, horrible food.

Nice and friendly owner….! My chicken and lamb kebab was just wonderful. The baba ganush was mouth watering. I liked the Humus, pita bread all felt homemade, authentic, fresh and well marinated food. My only complaint was that the falafel was raw in the middle not properly fried. That’s why it’s 4 starts instead of 5.
