They building needs more sound buffers. 6 tables filled and could hardly hear my guests. Service was the worst. Server was too busy talking to friends to serve our table. Had to ask for food which he obviously forgot, didn’t inquire to our satisfaction or any follow up.

It had been far too long since we had eaten here. We were certainly excited for our Saturday night reservations. It was hard to stay away any longer. We had been looking at all of the great Facebook posts that Helix had been putting up showcasing the specials leading up to our visit. The regular menu has many excellent choices as well. They have a great selection of drinks too. We chose Crab Dip for our appetizer. It was a tough call, because there was a Thai Pork Belly appetizer that was looking delicious as well. Our server was prompt and attentive. We also got a hello from Brad so that’s how it’s an extra added bonus 🙂 My wife had the Brazed Beef and Shrimp over Mushroom Risotto and I had the special of the day which was Beef Tips covered with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce over mashed potatoes topped with haystack onions. Both of our meals were absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend Helix enough. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to keep an eye on what they are serving up next!

We moved to the Grand Forks area 3 years ago from Pittsburgh, PA, and before that we lived in Minneapolis. Helix is as good as any restaurant we went to in either of those cities. My wife is glute-free and has a number of go-to items on the menu, which is clearly labeled for gluten-free options. We have gone multiple times and will be back!

First time visit tonight. Very, very good. I tried the pan seared salmon and my wife had the pork belly. Beers were cold. Service was excellent. Finished the night out with the cheesecake and banana bread pudding. Delicious!

Excellent food and service. Make sure you get a reservation. We were lucky to grab a seat at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and helpful with suggestions. Cocktails were great. We enjoyed pork belly and flatbread appetizers. For dinner we shared a great salad and an amazing filet. Can’t recommend high enough! It’s a must try.

A true hidden gem in Grand Forks, the food are delicious and the ambience are soft and relaxing. Mango Pork belly are so delicious and I do like the chocolate dessert that we ordered.
