Great spot very close to the beach in Seaside Heights NJ. Great atmosphere, pool tables, live music, great food. The as usual I tried their Buffalo Wings. Perfectly crisp and just the right amount of heat. The stuffed Lobster tail was less expensive than I thought it should be, but it was tender and juicy and the stuffing was delicious. Try the Street Corn, amazing. My wife and her sister each had the Bacon wrapped Beef Medallions. My brother in law had the Flat Iron Steak. All of us had the street corn. My wife had to try the Lava Cake, it was really good. You should definitely try Hemingway’s Cafe.

The food was great, the waitress was great. HOWEVER….the manager, Paul, gave my reservation away to someone else. So my wife’s birthday had to be in a bunch of high tops next to the bar. His snarky attitude towards me, my family and friends was unprofessional. My wife and I always liked going there throughout the year.

Our food was very good. I had the salmon and my husband had a steak. We were told we had to sit at the bar because they had a cover charge for the band coming in at 7. There were plenty of tables they could have sat us at so people at the bar couldn’t understand the reasoning for that but otherwise we enjoyed ourselves.

Steak and lamb were delicious, loved the pretzel bites! Happy hour 4-6 pm great prices on drinks and appetizers. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Sat near the bar and watched lots of sports, other patrons playing pool

Place is big, there are at least 3 bars, lots of people watching to be had. Our bartender Melissa was great! very attentive even when it got busy, suggested a few things to eat and drink. There were quite a few Bachelorette groups here, not that has to do with anything lol. There was a band setting up when we got there, they have a happy hour til 6pm, we missed it. Next time we won’t. Definitely a place to come back again for. Try it out.

Visited this restaurant for the third time, and while the food and table service were decent, the experience was marred by the unpleasant head host. This individual, who seemed to be a grumpy older man, was a complete turn-off. His demeanor was quite unappealing, and it’s unfortunate that he’s the first impression of the establishment. If I were in charge, I’d consider a different role for him, perhaps managing something less customer-facing like the ice in the basement. Overall, I can’t recommend this place.

It is hard to give a good rating here because we went with such a Large party and there were only 2 people waiting on tables That had about 15 people per table. The food was okay for us personally But Some people really liked theirs. There were plenty of options. Kid friendly menu

Hemingway’s is my go to place when I am at the Shore. Was there this past Saturday to see the Soul Cruisers. I had a blast, the food , drinks, music, DJ and atmosphere was wonderful. Most of all the people are phenomenal. Friendly, Engaging. . Never disappointed

Very nice restaurant located a couple blocks from the beach welcoming diners with a very nice decor and five star restaurant feel. Service here can get really busy so call ahead. You can come hang at the bar and listen to a live DJ, or dine outside on a clear day. The food is pretty good not amazing and the prices are a bit on the higher side. This place gets most of its charm points for the great atmosphere they have there and a nice wait staff.
