Come on in at Hempin Hill! Fantastic food! The crab chips are awesome! Absolutely awesome! Get these every time for an app! The hill burger is awesome as well! Very juicy and a good size burger. The smoked mac, pulled pork, brisket all awesome. If you have a bbq fix that needs attention you definitely need to stop on in. I do wish they would bring back some challenge burgers like they used to have. The staff is awesome and its a cool place in general. I will be back and back and back. Pictures below

Very generous portions of food. We ordered the Valentine sampler for 2 to try a variety of dishes. Some of it was a little dry, i.e. the chicken wings. Most was decent. Our favorites were the rib bones and the pulled brisket. Special came with this cute heart cake.

This place was awesome with delicious BBQ. The food here was absolutely wonderful and one of the best BBQ places I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere was what you expect of a BBQ restaurant with some modern aspects. I loved how they display all of the trophy’s they have won around the front of the restaurant. Staff were kind and helpful and the prices are very affordable. I will definitely be back here many times and recommend this place to many other people.

The food here is absolutely amazing! And the best part is they have so many vegan and vegetarian options that are delicious. The wait staff was very attentive. Asked us if we needed anything several times and my drink never went empty. Will be returning soon!

Wow!! My friend told me about this place… I’ve passed by Hempen Hill many a time, but I never really thought about going in… I’m really picky about my BBQ… Well… I’m happy to say that I was wrong… REALLY wrong!!

The server, Lindsay was not attentive at all, not only did she seem like she didn’t want to be there but she also seemed bothered by me asking her questions about menu items. My drink was empty for several minutes while she stood at the bar and chatted with someone who was not even a paying customer. The biggest issue I had with all this, was her foul language while having an inappropriate conversation loud enough for others to hear. The drinks were overpriced and were rather weak, service was slow even though the place was practically empty. As for the food, the portions are smaller than other bbq smokehouses I’ve went to but the bbq sauce was superb, the buns they use are very good and I like that they toast them. I’m not a fan of onions but their pickled onions were a hit with me, baked beans were fairly good and the pulled chicken definitely had a smoky flavor but the white sauce they cook the chicken in, gave it a slimy texture so I really didn’t care for the taste of the meat much. I’d rate quality of food as average but customer service was well below average. I’m sure that doesn’t apply to the entire staff but for my first experience, it wasn’t a good one.

Good food, Excellent Service and a pretty large selection of beer and drinks. I’ve tried a bunch of BBQ from several different places and I feel they have one of the better BBQ joints in the area. One of the few places around here that you can find Pit Beef. I tried the BBQ trip which has a little bit of everything and was a great way to sample all of their BBQ. The Pit Beef was delicious as were the Rib Bones and the pulled pork and beef were pretty decent too. The chicken was slightly dry due to the size of the wings but overall had a decent taste. The selection of sauces are all tomato based and was disappointed there wasn’t a vinegar based sauce for the pulled pork, but the spicy and the original sauces had great flavor. There is a selection of other items on the menu ranging from vegetarian to items that aren’t associated with BBQ. Our waiter was very friendly and personable and attentive to our needs and look forward to a return trip to this establishment. I.I.T.Y.W.I.M., W.Y.B.M.A B.?
