Great food, but I ordered too much! The Mac and cheese was possibly the best I’ve ever had, and the fried catfish was phenomenal. Highly recommend upgrading to that. My only complaint was that they forgot my sauces but I should have checked. Just didn’t want to walk back.

Went into the restaurant on a hot day during my daily run just to use the bathroom. The waitress I met was so friendly and even offered me a glass of cold water as I was leaving. I went back for dinner with my daughters. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was just as good. Highly recommend. This is a great restaurant that the community should support.

Food was pretty good, although I picked up and drove an hour home before I got to taste it. Prices were better than expected! I got 3 entrees for about $43. Went at 11:30ish (they opened at 11), and the cashier had to ask the chef if he was ready to start my order, and I was also notified that several items would take up to 15+ minutes to cook. Despite that, the staff was friendly and polite. My food was fantastic and I will definitely be coming back for more!

This place was a 9.9 out of 10; FANTASTIC food. The only reason I didn’t give a perfect score was because I paid for extra wafers in my banana pudding, and the pudding barely had any wafers at all.

Everything was GREAT!!! The place was clean. Music was enjoyable! I thought my grandma was back there on this sweet potato pie and hen &fin meal! The sweet potatoes do melt in your mouth! If your Mac don’t taste like this keep it! I will be back!!

I am finishing my birthday breakfast as I write this. We came here on a whim after thrifting at Fia’s a block away. I have not had brunch this delicious in such a long time. I got the fried trout with cheese grits and I am trying not to inhale it cuz it is so damn good! Chef came out and brought us the creole sauce to accompany our meals and while it wasn’t required, it was a nice cherry on top of an already scrumptious plate. Kudos to the kitchen! We’ll most certainly be back!

I want to preface this by saying I’ve had great experiences but today I think they lost me as a customer. Got there at 11:02 and we were greeted by a gentleman saying they weren’t open. We laughed and joked about the time, nothing major. NOTHING WAS READY and I understand life happens and things don’t go as plan but I would’ve preferred to be turned away than to be given subpar food.

As Beyoncé would say “10 10 10 across the board” the food was really good and will be back to try more. I had the wings with fries and the fried croaker. Service was excellent. Brianna was a nice and offered suggestions. Recommend a seafood sauce, very good. Art is the man, made everything to perfection. He recommended the fruit bread pudding, which I never had, it was delicious. Black owned business! Black excellence
