This was by far the best meal of our weeklong trip in Burlington VT and Lake Placid NY. Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service were phenomenal. Certainly a bit of a pricy meal but well worth it to us for the great experience. Two of us shared a half dozen oysters, two cheeses, three small plates, and one larger plate fish dish. All were fantastic. Desserts were also great!

UNREAL. this might be one of the best restaurant experiences of my life. Everything was incredible – service, cocktails food. I got a gin cocktail and my husband had a rum cocktail. For an app we got this bread, cheese and cantaloupe thing which was fantastic. I ordered the halibut and my husband ordered the steak. Both incredible. GO HERE.

Waw this was good and fun experience! The restaurant, first of all, is beautiful and very cozy. Immediately felt welcome and excited to eat. The food is local and so delicious. The cocktail was strong and refreshing. I recommend the melted cheese with rhubarb compote. Dessert was so good. Really enjoyed it. It’s pricey, so come prepared.

Always amazing fare at both locations. Fresh, seasonal, local, and exquisitely paired flavors. Oysters are super fresh! The seat at the chefs counter is always the best spot in the house as you can watch the dance between everyone to create all the yummy dishes. Staff on both sides of the counter are wonderful and clearly love food as much as we do. They are super helpful with food restrictions and one of the very few places in the country that on occasion have local shrimp that are sulfite free! Best sunset views right out the front door.

Excellent food, expertly prepared. The whole experience was A+, minus the strange 80s music playlist. The cocktails were superb. Service was perfect. The server stopped to fold my wife’s napkin when she left to use the restroom! I’m not a regular fish eater but decided to order the Swordfish. It. Was. Amazing. The zucchini was made in a way that was crispy and flavorful but not overcooked at all. This place isn’t cheap, but the quality of the food is great, the experience is top notch, and the pairings are well thought out. It won’t be something we do every time we’re in town, but certainly we will recommend it to others.

Absolutely tremendous food definitely great that they keep some of the same stuff on the menu And just give it a different twist every night flank steak was absolutely amazing Their dinner rolls are absolutely tremendous and the desserts were great as well. Highly recommend making reservations as it is always packed they do say that they have room At the bar if you wanna go in And eat at the Bar.
