Small country store feel, cozy vibes. You feel like you’re in your family’s kitchen eating bbq. Great flavors overall. My must-try recommendations is the Boudin sausage. You will become addicted. If you are feeling exploratory, try the smoked chicken with the sweet potato and kale side. The flavors together are magic. The service was amazing – You feel cared for and safe.

Aug-3: Awesome store with unique local and Texas products. Serious BBQ place. Brisket is cut thick, and is juicy with a just right seasoned bark. Ribs are not fall off the bone but very tender. Found the seasoning a bit more salty than I prefer. Pulled pork was moist and lightly seasoned. Cajun spicy Boudin sausage was just ok – neither Cajun nor spicy .

We enjoyed another expertly smoked chopped brisket sandwich along with a smoked chicken sandwich moist and full of flavor from the always reliable Henderson & Kane. Excellent BBQ and sides plus tasty desserts makes this place a must-go for BBQ aficionados. The butcher meat counter is also good for picking up steaks. The general store offers an interesting, curated selection of locally produced foods, making it fun to browse while waiting on your order.

I was visiting from Louisiana, and just happened upon this cute little place. I had no idea it was steak night, but I was happily surprised! The steak was amazing.. the char and flavor were absolutely perfect, and everything is locally sourced. I highly recommend the beef tallow if you order the steak. The sides were full of flavor. 10/10.

Amazing customer service, tacos were tasty and the ribs were moist. There are lots of goods sourced in Houston or within Texas. My husband and I tried everything I got, and were both satisfied. My husband enjoyed the brisket taco and ribs. I love the avocado taco! We both enjoyed the cream corn that has a bit of heat and cheese. We had the banana pudding and was happy to see bananas in it besides the vanilla wafers. We enjoyed the meal that I was not able to take a picture to post here. Below is a picture of the goods that I got which included food for my pup. I also, did a review on Yelp that described the customer service which was quick, easy and Personable (Thank you Maddy)! This is an establishment I would recommend for everyone to visit!

Just wow! The food was absolutely delicious. We got the Pitmaster Plate in order to get a taste of all the different meats – juicy brisket, flavorful beef sausage, tasty ribs, and more. I have to say that every single meat was well done, which is hard to come by. On our search of finding the best BBQ in town, taste testing 8 different BBQs of which none could fully measure up, this was finally the charm! Very friendly service as well and what a fun store concept with lots of locally made goodies. We will be regulars!
