Came here for a quick dinner and ordered the grilled eel don & the omelet rice with Demi-glace sauce. The eel was great quality and the omelet rice was super flavorful. The one downside is that the portions are smaller for the price.

Greeted by friendly servers and bartenders! We thought the place was cash only at first that’s why we hesitated to go in, but the staff were very accommodating and nice and told us they accept everything. We sat by the bar and ordered some rolls, yakitori, gyōza and fish cake + high balls and beer. Everything was good! Pretty straightforward ‘hole-in-the-wall’ Izakaya restaurant. Ambiance was a vibe as well! Have to check it out when you’re in Hell’s Kitchen!

Called in for happy hour. Really nice so came back next night for diner. Service was good, food arrived quickly and was very nice. Went to pay bill and was instructed by waitress that we did not leave enough tip. She even pointed at the percentages on the bill of what we should have paid. We left and wondered why.
