Ordered the Club Sandwich with Smashed Avocados, and french fries were hot and crispy. Beer was fresh and cold. The service was excellent! Gave four stars for food cause cheese had an off taste and atmosphere four stars due to the heavy odor of cigarettes..

For a bar, the food is excellent. Heck, even for a restaurant the food is excellent. Most burgers these days are frozen preformed garbage, but HH makes a mean burger. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and had my burger in 7 or 8 minutes – thats how you know it was actually cooked and not heated up. The only thing that would’ve made it better would be if the pickles weren’t cheap dill slices with all vinegar and no flavoring, but thats standard fare and I can look past it. Take note – it is a bar and if you don’t have your ID, they won’t let you sit, even in the restaurant area. BRING YOUR ID! I would definitely recommend stopping by id you want a good, fresh burger from a friendly staff at a fair price.

Waited for 10 min to even have our order taken. The bar tender was just chillin, the waitress was no where to be found. Then had to wait another 10 min to be served our second drink. The bar tender said he didn’t know where the waitress was, should have found her and told her she had a table. Worst service ever at this Henry Hudsons.

Okay, this burger I got had this jalapeno cream cheese sauce and an egg on it! I can’t remember what it was called but the egg was an add on by me. I got fried okra for the side. The cook was spot on that night! I thought it was all awesome! This was on a Sunday night and we were there playing pool league. If I didn’t live all the way out in Shawnee, I’d be making another trip there to have that same burger! I could of ate another side of the okra too! It was a good quality okra. I’ve been thinking about the burger and okra for three days now! LOL! No complaints on the server either. She did well and we were a pretty big group.
