A simple roadside restaurant with wide selection of very good sandwiches. They have fast and friendly counter service plus offer indoor and outdoor seating areas. As it was a beautiful summer’s day we chose to eat outside and can suggest that they may want to think about planting shrubs to separate the road from the picnic table area.

I really wanted to like this places more, as they are doing so many things right. It came down to execution. Positives: very clean place, a lot of seating options, efficient and friendly window service, home cooked meats and protein. Knowing it was a sandwich focused place, I felt like the portion was small, bread didn’t support the meat (too soft, maybe could’ve toasted or grilled to add texture and the meat was slice too thick. I get what they were going for, but nobody wants to chew so much on ever bite. These could be simple fixes. I will try again, as it could have been an off day. I’m also okay paying more for a sandwich with a good bread to beef ratio. If it’s good, people are okay because they see value.

I got a roast beef sandwich here and it was very good. I was in a group of 4 and we all were quite impressed with our sandwiches. There is not a lot of seating on the inside, but there are some picnic tables outside under a tent. The inside has a cool interior with a King Henry statue.

Excellent roast beef! So tender. The menu has some great looking options, I got the Queen Anne which is roast beef and blue cheese. The ingredients were all top quality including the bread. The roast beef is very tender. They also have Moxie in cans. I ordered over the phone for takeout and it was hot a ready on time.
