I heard puffy tacos were all the rave here in town. I even googled and it looked very interesting. How does it puff? Why does it puff? The most important question, how does it taste? It’s a nice new way to bring yet another taco to my mouth. Air consistency topped with meats and veggies, flavorful as well as colorful! I thoroughly enjoyed it and wouldn’t mind coming back again. Hot food and great service, I never needed to flag anyone down, the server/ bartender was pretty much on it. This location is spacious, lively, and has festive decor. Full tables on their way to full bellies. The parking is decent too, but it can get crowded. If you live around here, I’m sure you have already heard about this place if not already tried this establishment. But, if you’re not, why not? It’s yum and puffy!

This place is delicious. I really like their enchiladas and especially those puffy tacos. Everything is fresh and the food comes out fast. I really enjoy their chips and dip as the salsa has a nice kick to it.

First time visiting this restaurant. The food tasted fresh but it was mediocre. Chips and salsa were okay and the queso was really good. I ordered the Pollo Cozumel which had a little flavor.

Let me start this off by saying the puffy tacos are amazing. The proprietary preparation of the taco shell really pays off as it does not get soggy even as the last taco on your plate sits there looking at you like the last kid picked at kick ball. I ordered picadillo, carne guisada, and spicy fajita chicken. Picadillo and Fajita chicken had amazing flavors and paired really well with the puffy taco shell. I was pretty disappointed in the carne guisada as I felt it was pretty bland and was overpowered by the shell and even the lettuce and tomatoes. The veggies on the tacos were fresh and crisp and added a great crunch. As far as the sides, the Charro beans were absolutely off the chain. The beans were not over cooked, and even had little spice.

Went for puffy taco’s and Rita’s and wasn’t disappointed y’all. Had a guacamole and a picadilla/ guacamole puffy plate. Karen had a couple vegan puffys with guac and no cheese. There was a 30 minute wait, but we sat at the bar right away. Beans were good too!

Ok. Don’t get mad at me. Service was good. The food was definitely fresh. But the food was mediocre at best. Chips and salsa? Chips were ok, salsa definitely tasted like Pace picante, no heat. I ordered the flautas, which had very little flavor, but very good crunch. The puffy tacos were ok, but nothing to rave about. Charro beans and rice were very good. One thing I did not agree with their menu was the taco meat. They serve Picadillo, which, if you don’t know, is ground beef with potatoes in it. (FILLER) I asked just for plain ground beef for crunchy tacos. But they do not serve ground beef by itself. Bummer! Service and atmosphere is a 9 out of 10. But the food I give it a 6.5 out of 10. ☹️

The waiter was courteous and the stuff. My daughter’s surprise me for my Birthday by bringing me to the restaurant. And I order a Shrimp Enchiladas plate was so delicious.

Best puffy tacos anywhere. Great salsa, great meat choices, just delicious even to my taco snob family members.

Burritos bigger that the max iPhone. The service was outstanding. Our server Rolando was so kind and hospitable. Chips and salsa started the meal I had the shredded chicken floutas and devoured.

Henry’s is famous for its Puffy tacos because Henry himself Co invented the puffy taco down the road from here. This restaurant oozes Tex-Mex vibes but delivers on the puffy tacos goodness. There’s not a bad puffy order, but I really enjoyed the picadillo and carne guisada. Even lunch during the week can get busy but you can walk straight to the bar for full service. Skip the drinks and just get tacos.
