This is your typical small town pizza place. I had a cheese pizza, which was pretty good. My biggest complaint is that there were flies that needed to be shooed away, which is a real turn-off for me when it comes to restaurants. The best part about this place is its proximity to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library, and the historical village is just a few yards away.

I came in this weekend with friends and have been in on a Tuesday and treated poorly! We were asked “Yeah what do you need” not even greeted The Bartender clearly does not want to be there when she’s on her phone and or sitting at a table ignoring people waiting at the bar because she’s sitting and chit chatting at the table with people! The Bartender told us she didn’t want to even be there and she was closing early! Not very friendly for someone who hardly visits I felt I was being a burden to her to show up and spend money! My friends and I left after two because of how we felt and we were a large group!

The pizza was great with fresh toppings, plenty of cheese, and a crisp crust on the outside layer and a chewy center with great flavor. We have had pizza from many different places in the country, and usually, a mom and pop establishment just isn’t that great, but this place has it right. It’s a little different when it comes to decor, but they are doing them, and that is fine when the food takes center stage. Friendly people round the place out. Just don’t expect 5 star dining because that isn’t what they are going for. It is a bar environment that happens to make excellent pizza.

We ordered 2 pizzas and both were great. I liked that they had a 6 inch pizza with whatever you wanted on it. Then my husband and I can each have our own favorite. Of course he ordered a large one so that he had leftovers.

Excellent pizza joint. We had two Gluten Free pies and two regular crust. Both parties were satisfied. Only complaint is there could have been more toppings.. pretty skimpy.
