Went on a convertible with my sister and she had been to the Sand Bar & Grill so we stopped for lunch. On a Sunday (Father’s Day) we had the best spot on the deck, a little table for 2 in the shade. The food was great, the service was great , the view was great, couldn’t ask for anything better. Plan on returning in a couple of weeks with friends.

I am a Lake Mills local. Went to have a few drinks tonight with my family. Had a few drinks and got menus but after that forget it. Was never waited on again. It wasn’t that busy either! Ended up leaving and going to Crawfish Junction. Got plenty of service there sorry probably won’t be back. Doesn’t anyone younger realize that if you have young children they don’t sit still for long periods of time. Maybe when they have kids they will understand.

Super cute spot but unfortunately didn’t get any service. Waited for 15 minutes then just walked up to the bar to ask for menus. After another 10 minutes and no one even coming up to us we decided to leave. Group next to us left too due to no service. Any Acknowledgement would have been nice.

We went early for our Friday fish and waited for over 25minutes. Our server never came to welcome us or take our order. We left. As we walked through the bar area nobody was at the hostess counter and the bartender just watched as we left, never acknowledged us…horrible customer service. We have had poor service in the past but this was the worst.

There was delicious, fresh sushi. The wasbi and ginger were real. I got the dankai fries as a starter, it was ok. Get something else. The potato was too watery inside. I got the omakasi platter with chicken tortilla soup as an entree. The platter was had good variety of sashimi and nihiri. It just was not enough for my Boyfriend and I. My server was great in making sure nothing had peanuts or tofu in it. It in it It is located right off the river on water, so it was a bit chilly. We both got desserts and they were the specialities. I got ice cream with candied ginger and ganche and cardimon yogurt. The four things didnt all harmonize. My bf got the tempura banana with purple door ice cream. I loved the purple door ice cream, but the tempura banana just wasnt that right texture for me. Tempura soaked up all the cream. I had indian style fried plaintains growing up, and that stuff tastes soo much better. They should use plaintains instead of bananas. So overall, the place was decent, worth the money. Little minor tweaks to the food serve might make it better.
