Cappuccino is hot, perfectly smooth and tasted delicious. Even in Alaska you can find a great cup of coffee, and this one is the place to go. Recommended to us by a local who is actually from Italy (no joke), turns out she was not wrong. Comfortable place, easy to get to, like every place in Juno, and the service was relatively fast.

So, first of all, the coffee is delicious. However, go to the other branch around the corner where the service is polite. Super rude people here. Also, I waited here for about 45 minutes, and the guy and girl behind the counter were just chatting it up, and never bothered to clean the tables. I asked if the other (clean) section was open, and was told no. So I literally had to move someone else’s trash aside so I could sit somewhere.

I am a tourist in Alaska. Last week I ordered for Coffee Toffee which is displayed on your board. I was super impressed by the flavor decided to get another one today. I bought my friend with me told her she has to try this amazing flavor. So at the counter I ordered for two coffee toffee I clearly told her. I even showed her on the board. After waiting for quite a few min I was served Pink ugly strawberry milkshake. I approached one of the lady there and told her this is not what I ordered. She was rude – she said that’s what I ordered. She said alright mam i will make u your flavor but it is gonna take while, to which I agreed because I only came back for that flavor. As she noticed the queue was getting longer she changed her statement saying that the flavor coffee toffee doesn’t exit. They don’t serve that flavor. I asked then Y is it displayed on the board, also I ordered for this flavor last week and they served this is y i am back to have the same flavor. She even refused to listen. I could clearly see that she was lying and she was rude wasn’t helpful. The worst part she promised and made me waiting but later she changed her statement. I did not wanted to stand their and argue so I gave up seeking these young kids lying. And the girls were not ready to give my receipt. Isn’t it the standard to give a receipt. I had to asked for it. They also made me wait for my receipt. What ever happened there was a total bully, because I was a tourist. I had a bad day in Heritage Coffee Roasting.

I was a customer at this coffee shop multiple times a day the last few days, after yesterday I am disgusted I gave these people my money. The coffee is good but I highly recommend walking a bit further to The Rookery or Coppa where BOTH coffee & service is excellent. The service at this shop was efficiency only. Yesterday, my husband waited in line to order us coffees. Right when he got to the counter, the cashier walked away & shouted cafe closed & didn’t take anymore orders. It would have been really nice to know we wouldn’t be served before waiting in line 15 minutes. Beyond inconsiderate given there was no signage or communication saying they would be closing 2 hours early. There were quite a few other people in line as well. I made the mistake of overlooking the subpar service for convenience but will be giving my $$$ to other businesses in the area that don’t treat customers like trash.

Went in here to get a souvenir glass and some scones. We went in right after lunch and there was no line whatsoever, was able to go right up to the counter. Took almost 5 minutes for one of the multiple employees to even acknowledge us standing there, not even a “hi I’ll be with you in a minute”, and when we finally were helped…all we got was a mumbled hi and zero eye contact, no “thank you” or “have a nice day”. Scones were good, and I love my glass, but the customer service has room for improvement.

The food is expensive, small portioned and mediocre at best. They don’t prep the food before opening so you have to wait up to 20 min for them to make you a simple burrito or sandwich. All of the food shelves are just empty space. So odd. Service is slow and forgetful. They say they will notify you when the burritos are ready but they don’t so you have to constantly keep checking. Also, you have to get back in line to purchase the burritos after you’ve already waited in line to find out they haven’t made any yet. Such a bad system. Don’t expect a quick in and out.

I’ve been coming here for years and had the most awful experience yesterday. The tall blonde girl behind the bar had a disgusting attitude and was extremely rude to me and other customers in the facility. She made my order wrong and when I kindly asked her to fix it she refused. I then went back to register where I had to pay for a whole new drink and they threw the original one away. I would’ve understood if they did that because they were just replacing my drink but they made me pay for a whole new drink. I ended up paying for three drinks and only left with two. They then proceeded to hide behind the bar and talk about me and when they finished making my drink didn’t even call it out and just placed it on the bar. Overall would not recommend coming here. If you’re looking for your coffee fix the Rookery is right across the street or even black moon koven just right up the street and you’ll get treated like a regular human being.

Tourists and cruisers beware. The service is extremely unwelcoming to tourists. We ordered a small hot chai tea and small hot oatmilk mocha. Instead we were served a 24oz iced chai and an oatmilk latte devoid of any mocha flavoring. When we tried to ask about correcting this we were directed to reorder at the front. The servers were rude and did not smile or greet us. Overall very unpleasant encounter. Please beware and do not give service to this awful company.
