Food was ok. The cheese in my eggs tasted off, I’m sure it was processed cheese . Service was decent. We did look up several times and the staff seemed to be looking at us oddly.

Echo cashier was pleasurable and other folks work there. I only enjoyed the fried chicken breast, the chicken and gravy noodles thing with white rice and desserts sweet potato pie and pink and blue swirly cake. The southern hospitality is a 10. The rest of the food deplorable. I came to eat here from Boston to eat here for family reunion. This would not be my choice to eat again unless I was buying the above items I mentioned. But southern hospitality was out of this world so I would go again to eat if I come next year.

If you’re a diabetic, a vegetarian or on a keto/no carbs diet, this is not the place for you! Everything from the tomato pudding, to the pineapple casserole and the peach cobbler are super sweet! Fried chicken was decent as are the yams… everything else was mediocre. I’ve heard the seafood Fridays are good, but I definitely will not be back!

I took my father there for Father’s Day. The food was horrible to me. They charged me $38.00 for 2 buffets. Then $ 2.00 for a drink that should be included. It was flies everywhere & food was open. I will never recommend this place to no friends or my family. We should have went to the Hunam in roanoke rapids n.c 2 people $25.00 drinks included for lunch hours.
