Amazing cocktails and great food! This was my first time coming here and I definitely want to come back! Not pictured are the amazing small plates/appetizers we ordered. Started off with the rice balls, they were amazing! The rice balls are filled with cheese so it’s best to let them cool down before eating to really enjoy. Also ordered the white bean dip with plantain chips. THE BEST plantain chips I’ve had! And we had the tostones as well. The chimichurri sauce that comes with the tostones was also amazing! For drinks we got passion fruit margaritas and a mojito which were very well made and delicious! I will say the tacos were ok. My sister had the bowl and she said it was great but the arugula could have used a little dressing to it. Overall I would say this place is amazing with great decor and a nice ambiance. Staff was great too!

Hermanas is a great little spot in Lindenhurst. Food is always fresh, and the drinks are excellent. They have both great margaritas, as well as cocktails. Hermanas also has a nice choice of local beers on their menu as well. If you’re looking for a new spot, you should give it a try!

Fresh and flavorful ingredients, excellently prepared and plated. I had the Roasted Cauliflower taco, Chicken Taco (swapped in the pineapple salsa for the jalapeño relish), my dining partner had the Truffle Mushroom & Manchego empanadas. We also had maduros, House Made Passion Fruit Iced Tea, and finished with churros. (The tres leches was sold out but will try for it next time.) Nothing was oily or overly sauced. We are folks who usually bring home leftovers but the portions here were perfect for us -all plates were emptied and our bellies very happy. The passion fruit ice tea is packed with a punch of flavor that’ll make your ears pop (in a great way).

First time here and definitely won’t be the last. While they had no tables available we sat at the bar which turned out to be great. The drinks are amazing by a great bartender and the food was wonderful as well, everything was delicious and flavorful. The service was great as well. Highly recommend if in the area ro give this a try.

This is my third time coming here and as a Latina, im still impressed with the fresh drinks & fresh foods. If you come here fish tacos and pernil tacos are a must!! And as a women/mom in her thirties! Fresh drinks are a must for me. Want to taste good quality drinks like they just cut the fruit in the back? Come to HERMANAS!!

Food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all on point. It is a small place and gets packed on the weekends, so definitely make reservations if you’re planning to go on a weekend evening. I will definitely be returning, the Mojitos were made perfectly!

Just left after the best meal my partner and I have had in a long time. our waitress was very attentive and even went out of her way to bring me hot sauce and a jalepeno sauce without my asking by noticing my spicy drink choices. I also didn’t even really touch the sauces because the food was seasoned so beautifully I forgot about them. To the restaurant staff, thank you for an incredible meal. We will be back

What’s not to like about this place? After 2 visits I have tried a variety of food items as well as cocktails and everything is amazing. The tacos are some of the best I’ve had on the island. Each one is unique in flavor. The cocktails are well crafted and strong. Service is also fantastic.
