If you are expecting a fancy dining experience then you are missing the point of this great patriotic little spot. It’s a neighborhood blessing….friendly crowd…..friendly bartenders and a best kept secret kitchen producing some of the finest old-school Italian food this side of North Denver!! They have Mama Vella’s recipes and you should give it a try. The Calzones are not like other calzones being served everywhere….the spicy sausage and meatball blend together perfectly. The pizzas are great too. The portions are generous and the prices are very fair. Check out this great spot…..if you like Italian you’ll love it here!!

I’ve heard good things about their pizza, but the one thing I’ve heard is true this place has absolutely horrible table service didn’t even get to try the food we waited for about 20 minutes and didn’t see a server or anyone taking care of the tables so we walked out. For a place that’s always so busy it’s weird they have such poor service. .

Our party of 6, two kids, stopped in at this neighborhood pizzeria on a Sunday afternoon. The service was prompt and the pizza was excellent. The pizza sauce was really good and the Italian sausage topping was some of the best I have ever had. A very patriotic atmosphere. Looking forward to return visits to try some of their other menu items.

Reading the reviews we went in not expecting fast service, we sat ourselves, and were in no rush at all. The waitress came over in five minutes or less, and took our drink and food orders. The food came out and it was incredibly delicious, the pizza crust was crispy, the veggies were cooked perfectly, and the service was fantastic.

Hi this is Tucson Bo what a neat lil bar restaurant great comfort food I was there on a friday and Kathy was my bartender she was at Pitchers before which is another great place Heros has an older crowd but fun fun guys the drinks are great prices and good friendly folks great wings and pizza good good cu there next Friday by the way this is an old American legion post still have meetings but its bar restaurant try ii out don’t forget breakfast wonderful thanks Bo
