Let me explain something to you. This food was so good, so fresh and taste so authentic I almost willingly ate the bones! This quaint neighborhood spot has some of the best Jamaican food in town! I’m super glad I stumbled upon this spot and you won’t regret dining here either! The food was made fresh so there was a little bit of a wait but baby you can’t rush perfection. The prices are perfect and I guarantee you’ll be licking your lips afterwards and coming back for more just like me!

The Ackee & Salt Fish with dumplings taste like it came straight from Jamaica the rich authentic flavor was delicious. The customer service was excellent and I was very surprised coming from a carryout. This will be my go to place in Bmore to eat some real Jamaican food

After stumbling across this carryout and stopping in to grab a menu on the prior day, my family returned for dinner the next evening. We looked at the other reviews and photos to help decide what to try as there were so many things calling to us. We decided on one chicken cheese steak, one beef cheese steak, an order of 10 party wings, and a trio seafood salad. The women whom I spoke to the first day was there o the second day to take our order. She was very friendly and answered all of our questions. First I will say that we absolutely loved loved loved the party wings. They were sizeable, well seasoned and cooked to a perfect crisp. We unanimously agreed on returning for more. Next we ate and equally enjoyed the seafood trio salad. My husband loved the shrimp and I was a big fan of the seasoned crab in it. The cheese streaks are where our disappointment appeared! My husband and I like to eat our cheese steaks with different toppings and preparation styles. We decided to order one of each and share so we could both try two different proteins. Thus we came to a compromise on toppings. I adamantly emphasized to the young lady taking the order that we did not want any type of sauce “special sauce” as they advertised, or mayonnaise what so ever. I made it clear multiple times that my husband can not have any. We wanted both sub’s with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. She asked if I was sure and again I said absolutely no sauce of any kind, my husband can not eat it with his irritable stomach. She then followed with asking had we ever tried their sauce. I told her that this was our first time ordering from them as we did not live in the area and were visiting family in that neighborhood, but it didn’t matter because again, my husband won’t eat the sauce. She completed the order and said it would be a 30 min wait. Once the food was ready we got into the car and drove 40 minutes back home where we unpacked it and ate first the chicken and salad before digging in to the sub’s. Immediately the observation was that they did not look like the voluptuous large sub’s we had seen on the google page, in stand let down. The let down got lower once we began eating and discovered that buried under the meat and other toppings on both subs was a nice layer of what I’m guessing was their “special sauce!” Yup the same sauce I was clear that we did not want. Worse off, it was sweet! Completely ruined the otherwise savory sub. So so so disappointing.
