The food is tasty and there’s a lot of options to choose from when you’re dining with a group and everybody wants something different. The ding I have is that the pricing is VERY high. For example, my son’s double cheeseburger with fries was $19.62 while my Poke Bowl ordered as the large size with three proteins for $19.29 was cheaper and had far more food than my son’s burger (and he was ready for dinner 3 hours later)!

Awesome food hall with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! There’s a great variety of foods (tacos, burgers, noodles, pizza), snacks, and desserts that really fit the college student budget and appetite.

The Hey Day Market is a great play for group activities with a mixed tastebuds. There is a variety of venders that offer a grand scale of flavors. It does get busy; however, you many have to plan your visit if you are bring a big party to enjoy the open decor. They are also dog friendly, with an outdoor eating area equipped with dog bowls for food and water. If you found this review helpful, like and share the review. I would be happy if you follow me for more review as well. Thanks and have a great day!

Great variety of food venues with simple options – vendors include the following types: pizza, grill/burgers, tacos, poke bowls, ramen/noodles, Bao, Cuban deli, gelato + future student led incubator space! Parking is available at the South College parking deck adjacent to the hotel.

Prices are a tad high and food is food court food, but I think most people would agree you go for the atmosphere. Very neat spot. The wait times can be long. I would avoid Little darling burgers. Although I have waited in line there 10+ I’ve only had a meal from them once. They got to figure out how to streamline that one. You could get a meal from every other spot and still not order there.

I love Hey Day and I go all the time, especially during fall/spring semesters. Loud Roots has always been my favorite but recently it just hasn’t been good at all. I’ve been a couple of times within the past month and I had bad experiences for both. The first time there was a bunch of plasticky stuff in my food and it made it pretty much inedible. The second time, something in the salad bowl was 100% spoiled and I got food poisoning after eating it :’) I get the same thing every single time I go and this has never happened to me before. Keep in mind, the salads are like $16+ which is crazy, but it used to be worth it to me because of the large portions they give you. I’m definitely going back to Hey Day to get food from other places but I’m not going back to Loud Roots anytime soon:(

Had the smash burger from Lil Darling. This was my 2nd visit. The black bean smashburger was delicious again! The only thing was the fries, which were Amazing last time I came, was that they use sea salt. But this time we all had fries that were way too heavily salted. Like we had to wipe our fries down with napkins just to stomach a few. Other than that, they have a dj on Sundays from 11-3 so it was very loud at the time our group arrived. Overall still a very cool spot and everyone should try the smashburgers at Lil Darlings. Maybe request light salt lol

La Cubanita- cuban sandwiches hot off the grill. The Cubano – Huge sandwich, press grilled, pulled pork was perfect! Best cuban sandwich I’ve had in years! Plantain chips and Pineapple soda to round it all out. Fabulous first taste of Hey Day Market! Had a quarter sandwich for breakfast next morning. Still delish.
