3 stars because eggrolls was very good. However, my lemongrass banh mi this time was not good. I have ordered the lemongrass banh mi previously and it was delicious. I open my banh mi to find 3 pieces of meat like this. This is so disappointed, especially for $7.50 a sandwich. Even Hong Kong next door does a better job. I was also disappointed in the menu online not matching what I could order by phone. No BBQ pork special (Dac Biet) or pork belly banhi mi.

Tasty boba and the best banh mi Federal Way!! I’ve been coming here for the past months, it’s one of my favorites. The staff members are funny and kind as well as super helpful. The restaurant atmosphere is super cute. They have wonderful food and drink options and the food is amazing quality. One of the best Vietnamese places I’ve ever been in Federal Way. 10/10 highly recommended.

Wonderful spot for boba and banh mi sandwiches. I come back for the Signature and the lemongrass chicken sandwiches a couple times a week. Love their drink menu as well. I like how they can adjust the level of sweetness and ice level. Sure you can find cheaper lunch in neighborhood, but NOTHING with this kind of quality and service at Hi Banh Mi.

Food is good, but they don’t offer the options that they previously had and the quality isn’t the same. The bread was great, but the sandwiches are very slim and we had a ton of stems from the vegetables in our sandwiches and I had to end up picking them out. They’ve changed the menu to be more “Americanized” and not the traditional banh mi options you can get at most Vietnamese delis which is a bummer. I hope they bring back some of the options the previous owners had that were true Vietnamese Banh mi options.

I have been looking for a local banh mi place to try out and I am so happy I found this! I no longer have to drive to Seattle for a good sandwich! They even have smoothies and VIETNAMESE COFFEE!!! Yummy! Be careful on ordering the foot long cause it’s big! The pack it with veggies and meat! Our eyes were way bigger than our stomach! They offer spring rolls for only $4.50!!!!! Wow!! Our son even approved!

We were so excited to try a new Bahn Mi place but were immediately disappointed. The pork bahn mi was not good after 1 bite. And the fresh rolls were not fresh at all..tasted very fishy and there was a bug on the romaine. Save your money!!!

Really delicious sandwich and boba milk tea. I asked for 50% sugar and it was jsut right amount of sugar. The bread is crunchy on the outside but moist on the inside. It comes with a small sauce (I think it’s fish).

To be honest, this is the best banh mi shop that I have ever tried in WA so far. The staffs were very friendly and helpful to recommend me what I should try. I had the Grilled pork belly half food with extra meat, it is crunchy and has a delicious taste.
