This was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Our bartender (I forget his name, I apologize) was attentive and knowledgeable about the entire menu and the drinks. Made a killer old fashioned. The coconut shrimp appetizer was crispy and tasted fresh. The bbq shrimp and grits was killer. They threw a prawn on top, just terrific. I highly recommend this place!

I tried this place on the first day open and I was skeptical. Seafood so far away from the coast? But I was more than impressed. Food was all very fresh and delicious. Our server Jess was also nice and friendly. 10/10 recommend!

One of the best dining experiences at our week in Hiawassee. This was just a stone throw away from our Airbnb. Got a last minute reservation although there wasn’t much of a rush. Awesome cocktails and some really gorgeous plating. Slightly pricier but definitely no compromise on the taste. Definitely recommend if you want a neat dining experience.

I was impressed with my meal, I had the mountain trout with bok choy and it was very flavorful, I really liked it. Also at our table was the shrimp creole with aromatic rice and the lump crab cake with arugula. The presentation was beautiful on all three plates. We all agreed our meals could have been hotter. The atmosphere is very rustic and casual so I was surprised at the foods presentation being so elevated. They also offer ribs, pork chops and chicken so there is something for everyone.

Everything was wonderful here. The fried shrimp are great. They’re just lightly breaded with a cornmeal base. The peel n eat shrimp are big and fresh—some of the best I’ve ever had. The Brussel sprouts with honey spicy dipping sauce were to die for. I highly recommend this place if you love seafood. I can’t wait to go back!

The good, the bad, and the ugly. My wife and I went there for lunch, first time visit. Server was great, but that’s where the good ends.

Had a fabulous meal and drink – what a great spot! With a variety of seafood options on the menu, I went with the blackened Redfish, and it did not disappoint. A nice sized portion was delicious and came with rice, asparagus, and topped with a very tasty etouffee. The drink was the New Orleans Old Fashioned. Can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes!

I had the trout and the presentation was beautiful. It was cooked perfectly, wrapped in bacon and setting on a bed of sweet potato puree, surrounded by Brussel sprouts. I paired a New Zealand sauvignon blanc that was perfect with it.. service was good even though busy.. the atmosphere wasn’t the best and I was disappointed in that a few items I had looked forward to having viewed online where not available anymore.. the menu had been changed for awhile.

OMG!!! You absolutely have to stop here! The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! We visited Hiawassee back in November and due to Covid they were closed, but we came back and my husband wanted to try it out. I’m so happy we did. I’m not the type of person to leave reviews, but this restaurant absolutely deserves one. The staff, food and desserts are worth 5 plus stars. I had our waiter call the chef out just so I can commend his outstanding meals. We definitely will be returning and I highly suggest y’all try it out!

Ordered the fried catfish platter. The catfish tasted awful so I sent it back. Got my 2nd piece of catfish and it tasted the same way. Becky, the owner, came around and asked how everything was and I told her the 2nd piece of catfish tasted awful too. She took the piece of catfish outside and came back in and said she talked to the man that caught the fish and he said it was the best piece of catfish he had ever eaten. I told her I wasn’t going to pay for something I couldn’t eat and she said, “We’ll see about that.” Other customers heard what she had said and were just as appalled as I was. Worst catfish and worst customer service I’ve ever experienced by an owner. She won’t be in business long if she continues to treat customers the way she does. I know we won’t ever go back nor recommend to anyone. BEWARE!!!
