Just average hibachi, nothing great about it. Customer service is lacking. Young girl took my order, asked, with the intention of paying, for extra yum yum and extra teriyaki sauce. She didn’t put either in my bag so when I requested it be added to my to go bag, an older lady got grabby with my receipt, pulled up my order and saw that I did in fact order extra yum yum and paid for it and ordered extra teriyaki but the young girl had not charged me for this. I left a $5 tip on a $12 ticket and instead of apologizing and handing me a 10-cent cup of sauce, they still insisted that I scan my card for a dollar for the sauce that they mistakenly did not charge me for. I won’t Go back.

I love the staff and portions, but the rice was hard and dry in some spots. My girlfriend and I had to season up the rice and chicken. It was just bland at that point. Overall, nice experience and would try them out again. (Updated review)

After spending over $30 I ordered chicken and salmon, should’ve went to the grocery store instead, very small portion of salmon and over cooked dry & hard, chicken was over cooked dry & hard had over abundance of rice than meat, shrimp fried rice was all rice 10 pieces of shrimp, crab ragoons were the only good item in my order, I ate the food because I was at home and I didn’t want to cook and I was hungry from working a 10 hr shift but will not under any circumstances will be even considering this place for anything. wished I would’ve taken pictures.

Ordered takeout online, had the steak, veggies, chicken and fried rice meal. Had crab ragoon on the side. Everything was delicious, the best crab ragoon I’ve had in a long time. Wonderful, quick service. The staff was so polite. I will def go back and bring a friend.

Easily my favorite hibachi place in town. Food is fast, no matter how big of an order I place it’s always ready within 15 minutes. Orders are spot on accurate, can’t recall a single hiccup over a dozen + orders ranging from 2 to 8 entrees per order riddled with custom instructions I.E. extra veggies, sauce, etc. Food itself is very tasty, I’m reminded of how good it is every time I get hibachi from another place closer to work and wish it was closer to me. Staff is always helpful and great about taking phone orders. It might look like a little hole in the wall spot but it cranks out some delicious hibachi.

Outstanding experience. Hitachi Express was close, easy to find, and they make it easy to create an online order – so nice to have everything taken care of when you arrive. The folks who run the place were delightful – always a plus, and the food was exceptional. They had my order ready to go, even though I arrived early – can’t ask for anything more! A “keeper” – I’ll be back.
