Great resturaunt. Very clean and friendly staff. The appetizers were quite good and came in very large portions. We had the karage, tempura and veg gyoza. The karage was probably the best out of the three. The ramen was also really great and the noodles were very tasty and didn’t get soft in the soup. The broth was a little bit on the salty side though. Overall definitely worth checking out.

Have you ever had a bite of food so indescribably tasty that you stopped as though someone hit the pause button on your human remote control, just to appreciate how lucky you are to be eating what you’re eating? Yeah, this completely not hyperbolic statement sums up my feelings towards iishin ramen. They are fantastic!

Food was great and prices are good and service was also very very nice. Tried 3 of the ramen and 2 were at spicy level 7 and was delicious. Will definitely go back for more.

Arguably the best CT ramen. I’ll go out of my way and drive from Bridgeport for a hot bowl of this yummy yum yum. The noodles are perfectly cooked, the tender meat is so savory. All the flavors come together like a symphony. And the broth! I think the broth really seals the deal. My fave is the spicy miso ramen. You can choose on a scale of 1-10 how spicy you want it (I usually go for a 4 or 5). The service is great, the place is impeccably clean with a beautiful interior design (which encourages slurping!). While you wait for your ramen, make sure to order the pork iishin buns. You won’t regret it.

Yesterday was my first time at iishin and definitely not my last. The food was DEELICIOUS! The service was delightful. The level of spiciness ranges from 1-13 and I thought I would try a 7 and my waitperson advised me to go with 5 and he was SPOT ON! I wouldn’t had been able to handle a level 7. The crispy chicken bun appetizer is AMAZING!!
