The food was good. The BBQ was delicious though. I felt it needed a rub on it though to add to the great cook on the meat. I got a beef sandwich and the bread was very soggy from how juicy the beef was (I like juicy beef) the bread probably needs to be butter toasted (on a skillet perhaps add garlic to the butter) to make it easier to handle.

This place is on point. Racks of ribs, pulled pork ,baked beans,potato salad all very good. The sauce is all so slapping. Also brought us a pitcher of tea this is a huge plus for me I hate having to ask or wait for refills.

It was ok. The brisket was really good. The bottom piece of bread on my sandwich was soggy, had to toss it. Luckily we ordered an entire loaf of bread. Would be nice to offer rye bread as a choice. Would prefer a pickle spear to pickle slices. I personally didn’t care for the sauce. Thin and runny. The mutton was good.

The BBQ sauce was very delicious. Vinegar based with some peppery flavors, which made it a smidge spicy. Great fit for both the pulled chicken sandwich and the Soak which had a mixture of meats (beef, pork, chicken). The BBQ rib has great texture and smoked perfectly.

Waited 30 minutes for service, she took care of all that came In after me, then we had to ask her to take our order. Mind you, she was the only server, but to not acknowledge us. Then, as she brings my friends food she tells me what I ordered “brisket” was out. Was our first time in needless to say was disappointed what I got was good, but no refill on drinks and made to feel invisible, well.

No frills joint, but hands down the best spare ribs in Evansville. Eat 8n an by the pound carryout available at reasonable prices. The Bamma sliced pork sandwich is excellent lunch option. Its a generous portion at value price. Thier smoked meat is tasty and well seasoned on its own, but I like a little sauce on the side. The house sauce is good, but Id prefer a spicier option.

We went in a Tuesday evening. They looked busy and were. We had ate there in previous occasions, our guests, had not. One of our guests was speaking to another table, and was being told how good the food is and how they love coming there. We had a large order for 6. Appetizers, came immediately. We never had to look to see if our drinks were full. The food itself was amazing. The service, itself fantastic, as well as very friendly. We will eat there again, and again.
