Our pulled pork sandwiches were just…fine. I’m surprised that it was labeled as award-winning. The mac n cheese was inedible, and the corn seemed like it came from a can (not a bad thing) but then nothing much else was done to it. The service was OK. The only reason we were attended to at all was that someone from the back told people up front (who could see us) that they had people waiting. But folks were friendly when they did help us.

Sliced brisket was very good. Sliced pork tenderloin was okay, but too dry. It can be a tricky cut to keep moist, but a smokehouse should be able to do it. I got the “hot” BBQ sauce. It has some zing to it that my wife would call hot, but I was hoping for more heat. Not bad for the Midwest?

Got the pulled pork nachos they were amazing! Chips were hot and crispy. Pulled pork had amazing flavor. Queso was very good as well! My friend had sliced brisket her sandwich made me second guess not getting brisket nachos, it looked so good. She loved it as well. Staff was welcoming and very polite.

They have one of at least my personal favorite versions of a horseshoe. If you haven’t already try their pulled pork/brisket horseshoe. Overall some really great BBQ food. Well worth the money.

Only driving through town – wanted a quick but decent meal. The brisket sandwich was tough with fat chunks, slaw too vinegary. Fries were fresh and crispy but $29 for two sandwiches with no drinks?

If you are searching for BBQ, the dinner plates are good. We had a combo plate, and it was enough for 2 people. I didn’t care for their sauce, though, and the fries were cold and no ketchup. Potato salad was with skin on. I personally didn’t care for it. Otherwise, good size portions.
