All I can say is I probably won’t be buying again. Went to order 3 backed potatoes, was then informed they only cook 4 a day. Went with the pulled pork and it IS delicious, get a rather large portion as well. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the peach cobbler. Definitely the most disappointed I’ve been in awhile. Just plain bland. Whole experience isn’t worth $40 for one potato, 2 pulled pork sandwiches and 3 cobblers. We didn’t even order sides! I’ll just stick to PT’s

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries about a month ago. Fries were great, staff was great but sadly my sandwich was one of the worse ever served to me. It must have been the bottom of the barrel. Pork was super greasy and just globs of pork fat and very little edible pork. I love hickory river but I’m a little gun shy now about going back. I should have posted earlier after the event. Hope they correct that.

In town for work & was lucky enough to stumble upon this gem. Food was EXCELLENT! I tried nearly everything on the menu & found it all to my liking. Staff members exceeded expectations as they were friendly, courteous, and just the type of people I’d trust to prepare a great meal.
