This place is truly amazing the people are so nice full of Southern hospitality and the food is amazing. They always have different sides to try and the smoked meat is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. portions are more than enough food for one person. Plain and simple if you want to try some amazing BBQ then you must pull into Melissa Texas town Square and give this place a shot. Oh and if your ever wondering if you should get another side do it they are all great….

I just happened to find this BBQ place while waiting outside the ministry office of Melissa UMC. I needed something to eat and they’re it was!! The owner was super friendly and helped me choose a sandwich. Unfortunately he was out of the house BBQ sauce and I didn’t want a side, and he was out of drinks. No a worry, I had water. I enjoyed the sandwich and would like to try more so I’ll plan a return trip. I’d like to move my rating up to 5 stars but I’m fairness I need to have more to go on. But when it comes to homey , friendly charm it’s already got 5 stars from me!! See ya next time!

This is the place to get barbecue that is perfectly cooked. The food is always fresh and seasoned just right. I love coming here because the owners are genuinely friendly and it is obvious they care about the quality food they serve.

Have enjoyed multiple takeaway meals from Hidden Aces. Always been a pleasure to visit with the owner as well. Despite a number of personal challenges, he has always greeted me with a smile on, conversation, and good food. Never had an issue with bad food from here, and the food received has been tasty. Happy to catch him when able while driving by on Hwy 5, along with his great limited specials at times, especially the chopped bakers.
