I’m kind of surprised this place has such high reviews. I’m assuming dine in is a lot better. I ordered sushi at the end of lunch time so I don’t expect it to be fresh… but it was pretty bad. I still ate it, but it was the worst I’ve had in years. I would give them benefit of the doubt but their general tso’s is not the same as other places. it wasn’t great. Not sure who is eating here, but I’ve had actual Asian food from metro areas and California… this ain’t it. I understand it’s a Japanese place, but the sushi wasn’t even good.

Higashi is open again for in-person dining! We missed eating here so much, and we enjoyed our recent meal immensely. The food is just as good as ever. We often like to order a selection of appetizers for variety. Our favorites are the sushi, California rolls, gyoza, edamame, tempura, shrimp shumai. Their sushi fish is always fresh. The miso soup is the best ever. Nice people too!

Had dinner on a Friday night for party of 6 including an infant as a walk in. They were very accommodating and service was prompt. Food was good and reasonably priced. Table had various types of sushi and the chicken katsu dinner, no complaints. Husband had the sake and said it was great.

We were very impressed with this place! We ordered beef with broccoli, spring rolls, chicken pad Thai and California rolls. Everything looked, smelled and tasted delicious- very clean tasting! Ordered Shrimp & salmon terrayaki combo dinner, shrimp re-fried is over fried, hard like a rock…5 pieces of small salmon for $20.95? If you gotta ask people pay that price, give people some decent food portions. The only good portion they give is they give you lots of vitamin C.
